Professor Nycto

Professor/Doctor Nycto, real name Rene Alora Nycto, is a 5'10 demon. He has dull maroon skin, and a large percentage of his body is replaced by metal and prosthetics. He wears a long, white, lab coat, with grey buttons and borders on it. The coat goes up to his neck, covering up some of his neck. He has small wings on his back, with the top half a vibrant purplish-pink, laced with metal and having a bottom part that is a dark purple. He also has a small, lizard-like tail, with a black metal tip and many silver metal bands surrounding it. His face and body is a mix of skin, metal, and other prosthetics. He has two horns coming out from the side of his head, and one on the top of his head, all three being a mix of prosthetics and metal. He has pointed ears as well.

Nycto has always been insanely intelligent, having street smarts, book smarts and a genius IQ. When he was young, he left his family behind as he perceived himself as better then them. Eventually, his experiment he's he was working on failed failed and he was blown up partially, losing part of his body which he replaced with metal, but not all of the current metal parts. He does not wear shoes, having talons for feet.

His left eye is a solid, light red colour, with no pupils. While his second eye, the right one, is black with purple swirls inside of it, having shiny white teeth.

Very skilled with tech of all sorts, intelligent and dismisses peoples feelings often and has a real fear of Chrys due to what she can do to him. Treats Toxicus like his daughter but is abusive to her and all that. He used to be friends with Dead Master, but they fell apart for unknown reasons. Secretly, the two are exes.

His personality is hard to describe, but he prefers to appear cold and logical. He's a man who's only real want in his life is to work on his projects in peace, and become successful. He is defiant at most times, but Chrys scares him and he subservient to her. He owes her for his work, and she has hurt him to get her point across, so he's learned not to trust her. He cares about Toxicus to an amount, having created her, making her sort of like his Daughter, but he also thinks his punishment and justified and that she deserves it for acting out against him, and always pushes to the extent of her abilities and farther, and does not feel pity, but a sense of accomplishment when she finishes her traits. He does not trust Toxicus outside of her training and missions.

He met Chrys right after, and she promised to help him with his work, and she did so, but she also, whenever he would anger her, get violent. He tried to kill her, figuring he was done with her, but she stopped him and tortured him for a few weeks, removing parts of his body and creating a contract, ensuring he would do work for her whenever she asked, and in return, she would bless him with knowledge, power and recourses. He is still able to hurt her, but she always fights back and wins

Nycto does his best to be a 'father' to Toxicus, but he gets easily frustrated with her and often, if she acts in a way he sees as wrong, during training or otherwise, he will punish her. Such punishments include locking her in her room in the pitch black, taking her prosthetics away from her, torturing her, etc.

He fears Conruptus, but he also hates her, normally letting he do whatever she wants as long as it does not interfere with his work. The two are not friends, and are more neutral with a slight dislike, but he also has a fear of her due to her connection to Chrysalis.
