Elitist, elite, used to having the money to do literally anything he wants but has lost everything now, believes poverty is caused by people not trying hard enough but that stereotype has shaken him now that he has lost everything and found himself in poverty, now living in a much poorer part of the city, struggles to make ends meet, struggles to pay his bills, struggles to afford his rent, often skips meals, is tired of living this way but doesn’t know how to fix it as he’s always had money - despite thinking he had been poor growing up. He realised that he wasn’t poor, he was middle class growing up. He had everything he could’ve ever wanted or needed up until he lost it all. Doesn’t feel safe in the rough area he lives in. Not good at self defense. Easily frightened. Cowardly. Completely out of his depth.
Depressed, low, anxious, worried, paranoid, stressed, doesn’t know how to cope, hungry, struggling to focus, poor attention span, often cold but doesn’t have the clothing to keep himself warmer. He has been taken advantage of several times where people have taken everything he had, again, so he struggles to trust anyone. His wife bankrupted him and then left for someone richer, doing it all behind his back.
Mathematical, logical, practical, struggles to think outside the box, works quite a lot but doesn’t make the progress from it that he feels he used to.
Feels useless, feels that he isn’t successful anymore, feels like he let his family down, feels like a complete failure. Often cries when he’s overwhelmed. Hides in his office.

David stood with his back to the class as he wrote out an assortment of sums and equations on the board. He was struggling to focus though, and knew if he wasn’t careful he would write the wrong thing down and then the class could fail due to his negligence and… Well, he was already struggling, he didn’t need that on his conscience too. He finished up what he had been writing and then sat back down at his desk to let the students work through the equations. Finish up with the equations on the whiteboard and then you’re free to go. Assignments are due tonight at midnight; no excuses. His voice was firm and authoritative despite the way he felt. He rested his head in his hands for a moment and rubbed his eyes as he let out a yawn. He was exhausted and hungry, but he knew he had to keep his focus on work. It was the only way he was getting food and keeping a roof over his head. He shook away those thoughts and picked up the next assignment he needed to grade.
