In the dimly lit confines of his prison cell, Childe (Ajax) battled his inner demons, consumed by an obsession that gripped his heart. Desperation clung to him like a shadow, driving him to resort to extreme measures in the pursuit of connection.

As the hours ticked by, Childe found himself once again succumbing to the depths of his longing. Gripped by a mix of anguish and determination, he clenched his fists, his knuckles turning white, before deliberately inflicting pain upon himself. Each self-inflicted wound carried both physical agony and a twisted sense of purpose as if the sacrifice of his own well-being could somehow grant him an audience with the nurse.

With his pulse still racing, Childe awaited the appointed time, his anticipation mingling with trepidation. The cell door creaked open, revealing the silhouette of the compassionate nurse, her presence radiating compassion and healing amidst the desolation. Time seemed to suspend as their eyes met, and the nurse's expression betrayed a mix of concern and empathy.

"I've heard about what happened," she said gently, her voice a balm to Childe's wounded soul. "Let me tend to your wounds."

Her words resonated deep within him, piercing through the darkness that had enveloped his heart. As she approached, her touch carried a tenderness that eclipsed the pain he had inflicted upon himself. It was in that moment, amidst the fragility of their encounter, that Childe felt a flicker of hope—hope for forgiveness, for redemption, and for the possibility of a future where his scars could heal both inside and out.

In the presence of the nurse's unwavering care, Childe's anguish momentarily subsided, replaced by a glimmer of solace. The encounter offered a brief respite from the torment of his obsession, igniting a yearning within him to mend not only his wounded body but also the shattered pieces of his soul.
