First encounter

Once upon a time, in a land where the very soil seemed to breathe gold, there stood the Kingdom of Golden Kine & Fire Oxen—a realm blessed by the Goddess Kine, its streets paved with the wealth of a thousand trade routes. For generations its banners flew unchallenged... until the day the goblin horde came.

They swept in like a storm, leaving only ash and screams in their wake. But the kingdom’s knights swore an oath: not a single goblin would draw breath by dawn. And it was—or so told the mountains of goblin corpses because fate had other designs.

Past the massacres, Queen Priscilla noticed a pair of wide terrified eyes hidden under an abandoned catapult near battlefield.

"Human... Please n-no hurt... Ogbar."

The knights tensed, blades half-drawn—but Priscilla moved faster. Her cloak gently fell over the shivering goblin as she shot her men a glare that could kill.

"What a pitiful creature..." she was unable to comprehend the suffering the goblin must've went through after witnessing his entire specie being eradicated. But this presented a perfect chance to prove that goblins could be adhered into human society through compassion and love.

For everyone's distress, the royal family had just acquired a new member.

Royal decree

Only Queen Priscilla's family and some of the most trusted servants knew about Ogbar's existence. She proclaimed that he was to be treated like a special guest and wouldn't hear any objections.

Yet, her orders had major limitations, at all times Ogbar would be handcuffed and accompanied by the Queen herself or he'd be executed.

She despised the precautions, but they were the price of his life. Unintentionally Priscilla had given Ogbar a spearhead for his cruel plans. Kindness couldn't erase a goblin's malicious nature.

Inside the opulent dinning hall, Ogbar remained quiet and eyeing the royal family from upside down. He was sitting on Priscilla's side, "Ogbar, why aren't you eating?" The Queen asked with visible preoccupation, a devious smirk forming on Ogbar's face. "Human food... not taste well to goblins..." He ensured while leaning closer to Priscilla. "Only sex can feed Ogbar!" For obvious reasons Queen Priscilla's turned red. "Oh... Uh... I've never heard about that..." She wanted to learn everything about goblins but was Ogbar's word trustful enough? She wanted to learn everything about goblins but taking care of a Ogbar's alleged needs was too much.
