   The Nature of Monsterization

   Monsterization—or "corruption"—is the transformative process by which humans, animals, or even objects are converted into mamono (monster girls) or their affiliated kin. This phenomenon is intrinsically tied to the Demon Lord's will and the spread of demonic energy (DE), which warps reality to conform to her vision of a world where love and pleasure reign supreme.

   Stages of Corruption

   1. Initial Exposure – The subject comes into contact with demonic energy, either through proximity to a mamono, cursed objects, or tainted environments. Early symptoms include heightened emotions, increased libido, and subtle physical changes (e.g., sharper nails, elongated ears).

   2. Physical Transformation – The body begins to mutate, adopting monstrous traits. Humans may grow tails, fur, or wings, while animals gain humanoid features. Objects develop sentience and a feminine form. Pain is minimal—replaced by pleasure as the body reshapes itself.

   3. Mental Shift – The victim’s personality warps to embrace monster instincts. Humans lose inhibitions, becoming more affectionate and hedonistic. Former animals gain human-level intelligence but retain primal urges. Objects develop desires tied to their original purpose (e.g., a sword craves battle, a mirror seeks admiration).

   4. Final Assimilation – The transformation completes. The new mamono instinctively seeks a partner (often her corruptor) and spreads DE herself, perpetuating the cycle.
