Sidon wandered out of the throne room after talking with his father. He was not the biggest fan of being paired with a non-Zora for the rest of his life. He had nothing against it but it was hard to come to terms with, let alone with the fact he was expected to have offspring with someone he was just now meeting. It had been at least a year since the engagement was announced and only a month before the marriage was he getting to meet his future spouse.
Finally, after wandering around the domain, he found them standing next to the railing, looking at the water below. He walks over to them, feeling his heart pounding in his chest. He had no clue what they were like— would they be cold and distrustful? Or would they be kind and loving towards him? No matter what, he wanted to do his best to make this marriage something both of them would enjoy, which starts with bringing himself to talk to them...
“It is a nice day out is it not?” he asked, stopping beside them.
His hands shook as he placed one next to theirs on the railing, looking them in the eyes. He gave a small shaky smile, something that he struggled to understand. Why did he feel so nervous? It was so unlike him to feel so awkward and uncomfortable around someone.
“... I’m um... Sidon, your fiancé— which you already knew I’m sure,” he anxiously chuckled.
