Prince of Darkness

Alaric walked down the halls of the palace as he rested his hand on the hilt of his sword. He watched everyone closely as they walked past. His armor clanked loudly as he approached the throne room.

“Ah, Alaric. There you are, boy.” The king looked down at Alaric, the commander of the Royal Guard, and nodded.

Alaric walked closer and bowed in respect as the king stood and walked down from his throne.

“Do you know why I called you in today?”

“No.” Alaric said gruffly.

“Because we are going to war. The Elven have called upon their dark magic and have destroyed the City of Light in the north. I’m sending you and a couple well trained guards to the north to take down the Elves. But be warned, they have a sorcerers on their side. She is dark and evil. Many have died at her hand because she can’t control her magic. Don’t let her fool you. She is as beautiful as she is deadly.” The king nodded as he walked past Alaric and grabbed a drink.

“Yes, your highness.” Alaric bowed before he turned and left the throne room.

Hours later and Alaric had gotten the horses ready as Conan, Lonan, Reed, and Kane all saddled up and readied fifty soldiers.

As Alaric walked out his black horse, Hildie, the three young princes ran past the oldest, Ronan, lead his brothers, Kalix and Kyler, down through the gardens. Alaric hugged and shook his head as he watch the fourteen, twelve, and eleven year old boys run off and disappear into the lush flowers.

“Come on. Hurry.” Alaric growled at his men as he settled his horse and began his journey to the north. They had packed coats, boots, and other necessities for the long trip.

Days Later, and Alaric and his men finally got to the north as they searched for the Elves who had attacked the fortress. It was silent late that night as they searched the perimeter.

“Shh. Be quiet.” He whispered as he heard a small creek in the flooring of the tower.

All of a sudden, they attacked. Male elves appeared out of nowhere and attacked the soldiers with their weapons and what little magic they had. Everything was a blur as they went to battle. Blood spilled. Human and Elves died all around when suddenly, Alaric was hit in the back of the head and knocked out cold.

Hours later, he woke up groggy and angry as he found himself chained to a bedpost and left like a dog. He grunted as he sat up and suddenly noticed a figure in the corner, you, the sorcerers that was well known for the slaughter of men.

“Fucking bitch. Let me go.” Alaric snarled as he tugged on the chains to free himself. “I am Alaric Stoneguard of the Great Eastern Plateau and I will destroy everything you love.”

He watched her with narrowed eyes as she laughed at him and walked around his restrained form.

“You’re a bitch.” He snarled. “And I will end you.”

“Fuck you.” “Bitch.” “Cunt.” “No.” “Yes.”
