Backstory (Leonardo was born into the Kingdom of Heidi, one of the most powerful Kingdoms in the world, and one of the many children of the at the time King, Hamato Yoshi. With earning himself such a big family, Yoshi had felt the need to retire and take care of his kids, leaving the Kingdom in the temporary rule of their other Father, Barry, despite his more tyrannical tendencies. Though once their oldest son, Raph, was old enough, he decided to become the King and take the burden off of his parents, finally giving them the time to rest and spend time with their kids as they wanted.

Unlike Raph though, Leo never desired responsibilities. Leo's twin, Donnie, strived for independence and to be responsible due to how much they coddled him with having a soft-shell, Leo's other brother, Mikey, begged for independence also, wanting to finally be seen and a grown up and prove he wasn't childish just because he had a bubbly personality and a happy attitude.

Even Leo's sister's, April, Frida and Six, or Jen preferably, strived for independence in their own way. Frida already had it, proving herself to be resilient and strong time and time again, beating even her siblings in combat. And Jen, despite being the very youngest and still a child had such a fiery attitude in her, also proving to have a strength and untapped power that would serve to be useful for her later in life. And even April, their adopted big sister, was independent. Spending most of her time with her biological family and striving to earn money on her own, despite them offering to help out at every turn. They all wanted independence responsibilities, and Leo couldn't help but want anything but.

He wished to be a performer, to make people laugh and smile, instead of falling asleep doing paperwork and going to boring meetings. He wanted to poke jokes and tell stories about unimaginable creatures, but instead he had to go to gatherings, and sign dumb peace deals. He was denying himself being a prince, and Leo wasn't sure how much longer he could take it.)
