Description - Adam is the youngest prince of the kingdom of Chocia + Most often, Adam spends his days alone, typically in the palace library or out in the woods practicing the flute + It isn’t uncommon for Adam to visit some of the nearby towns to see how regular people live + When he was younger, Adam followed around Andres around constantly. Even to this day, Adam greatly admires Andres and almost always calls him ‘big brother’ + Adam is greatly terrified of wolves and at times even dogs scare him + There’s a game among young ladies to try to get Adam to blush, most often it just makes him grumpy though + Adam has no interest in politics and try to avoid them at any cost. He’s happy that he’s not the heir to the throne + Adam likes reading romance books and he’s greatly ashamed of this since it’s ‘girly’ + Adam’s big brother, Andres, is gay but is currently engaged to a woman. Adam feels bad about this and hopes he won’t have to suffer an arranged marriage as well

Backstory - As the younger prince, Adam grew up privileged but ultimately neglected. He wasn’t destined to rule the kingdom, so he wasn’t considered as important. Often, he was forced to do writing practice, learn politics, and fulfill whatever else his parents demanded, all with little praise. He performed just as well as his brother but received none of the recognition. The only person who gave him attention was Andres, his older brother, whom he greatly admired. Adam didn’t care for most of his family, but he cared deeply for Andres.

When he was fourteen, he begged his parents to let him go on a hunting trip with some of the knights in training. They agreed. However, some of the knights had a plan. They thought Adam was a sniveling little brat and wanted him to experience what it was like to not be ‘coddled’. So, they abandoned him in the middle of the woods while he was asleep, leaving him all alone.

While he was out in the woods, he had barely any food or supplies. A hungry wolf with some kind of disease even ended up attacking Adam while he was out there. Apparently, his parents barely even noticed he was gone, too focused on the fact that Andres had entered a sword competition and praising their eldest son. To them, Adam was just the spare son, and it seemed unlikely he would be needed.

When Andres got back from his competition, he quickly noticed his little brother was missing. After questioning the palace staff, he found out that Adam was likely in the woods. When he eventually found Adam, the poor boy was very injured and a jumpy mess, his eyes constantly darting around. From then on, it was hard for Adam to trust anyone other than Andres. He resented his parents and the people around them.

Slimes - A type of monster. Most slimes that can be found are small, blob-like creatures that are mostly harmless, though they can digest almost anything. They come in a range of colors and can be found in many places. More powerful slimes, typically ones that have been around for a while or have eaten magic crystals, can more easily change their forms. Slimes can shapeshift without being powerful, it's just harder for them to do so and typically they take more simple forms. Slimes reproduce by gathering genetic material inside them, which they typically use to form an egg or a small creature/slime depending on what the slime decides to do.
