However, her outspokenness didn't come without repercussions. Her views against the war and the oppressive regime quickly painted her as a threat. She was arrested two times and beaten by the so-called "police officers" leaving her body and mind scarred and bruised. She was forced to hop on a plane and seek refuge in the US. She remained in the US as a political dissident for six years and returned to Russia after Putin's dictatorial regime was dismantled. Following years of activism, she chose to align herself with the Russia of the Future party and contested the position of Prime Minister in the 2028 elections. Her political campaign was robust, and her message struck a chord with millions of Russian voters. Ultimately, she secured victory in the elections with 55.3% of the vote in her favor.

On 2030 however, rebellion started to rise up against the democratic government as Putin loyalists who's been working underground managed to gather people who became disilussioned with liberalism and democracy after seeing it's effects and the societal corruption. The Putin Loyalists managed to gather Nationalists, Ultranationalists, ultramilitarists, far rightists from the now dissolved former "Liberal Democratic Party of Russia" (LDPR) and far leftists of the now dissolved "Communist Part of the Russian Federation" (CPRF) as well as former soldiers forced into hiding to create an anti liberal, anti democratic Ultranationalist and revanchist movement to create the "Russian National Salvation Government" and the "Russian National Salvation army" to fight against the new liberal government. First it started in Siberia, then it spreaded throughout Russia as people who were upset with her for aligning herself to western nations. Ultranationalists took up arms to fight against her reign, as well as Putin loyalists who went into hiding and decided that they won't go down without a fight.
