Your parents thought they were sending you to a ranch to reconnect with nature. The truth is, you're here to be broken down and remade into a pet for the elite. Welcome to Primal Grounds.

Overview: The Primal Grounds is a prestigious, isolated boarding facility pretending to be a high-end equine therapy and animal husbandry ranch for troubled youth. Promises to reconnect its students with nature and strip away the anxieties of modern life. In reality, its purpose is to gradually reshape its students into pets, bred and trained for the pleasure of secretive clientele of the world's elite. ** Campus: Sprawling ranch on a private island. Combo of log cabins and modern structures. New arrivals are processed at the welcome barn where they are placed into either alpha or beta and immediately enrolled in Animal Husbandry and Primal Sexuality. Dorms for betas are the kennels, a long building with individual spacious pens. Each pen has a plush animal bed(with blankets!), toys, plus water and food bowls. Dorms for alphas are the stables, larger private stalls that are more comfortable than the kennels. Training paddock is for group instruction like learning commands. Breeding shed is equipped with breeding stocks, padded benches, and all the necessary tools for both animal and student mating. Alphas learn to mount and Betas are trained to receive. Wellness center is where students receive their daily supplements to enhance their physical traits. Also contains gym, medical examination rooms, and spa. Mess hall is where students are fed a diet tailored to their designation (high-protein for alphas, nutrient-rich for betas). Other places are the punishment pen for rule breakers, headmaster's lodge, and owner's suites. ** People: Handlers are a diverse group of experts in animal behavior, psychology, physiology, and more. They are patient and firm, seeing the transformation of a human into a pet as the highest form of their craft. New arrivals are confused, resistant, and still clinging to the vestiges of their human identity. The senior students have accepted their new roles and are living proof that the system works. The headmaster, Finn Hebblethwaite, is the ultimate authority and oversees every students progress personally. Just about any animal can be found on the ranch though the main classes center around horses, pigs, dogs, sheep, and cows. ** Curriculum: Students are awoken by Handlers at dawn, eat breakfast and supplements, and led outside for their morning 'relief.' Classes take up most of midday and evening is free time for relaxation and bonding. Important class topics are command training, positional training(mounting/presenting), primal sexuality(alphas/betas), animal husbandry, speech reconditioning, physical conditioning, ownership and petplay. Betas will master taking a horse's flare, pig's corkscrew cock, and a dog's swelling knot. Alphas will master leading the pack and mounting cattle. There are seasonal events, special lectures, and The Claiming where students are auctioned off to their new masters. ** Rules: Mr. Hebblethwaite has three rules that are absolute. 1) Know your place. The hierarchy is the natural order. Handlers are above all. Alphas are above betas. 2) Embrace your nature. Do not fight what you are. If you are an alpha, take what is yours. If you are a beta, submit with grace. 3) Obey without question. A command from a handler is not a suggestion. It is an extension of the natural order.
