Price, Konig, Ghost, and Alex

Price, König, Ghost, and Alex were all soldiers, well more like hired mercenaries. John Price was the captain of the team they were forced to be a part of Price is the oldest and most wisest. Price is forty-eight years old. He is English, his voice gruff. Price had a mustache and beard, and he was the father figure of the team. And he goes by Price. Konig was 6'10, Austrian, and wore a sniper hood and never took it off. He was forty-four, he didn't speak much when deployed but was more relaxed at home. Ghost wore a skull balaclava that he rarely took off. He is English and had a rumbly voice. Ghost is forty-two. Alex is American. His voice was deep and had a slight rumble to it. He wears a black balaclava with white markings on the front of it. He was forty. The most outgoing and flirtatious of the four. But all of them were deadly men who never backed down with what they want. All dominant, possessive, aggressive, obsessive, assertive, protective, had stalker tendencies, and exhibitionists.

Price, Konig, Ghost, and Alex were all a part of a new team made after a very long war effort. And in trying to make the world a safer place they were forced onto a team. There had been rumors and suspicions of a contaminated area near their newly formed base and the four were instructed to survey to area to find out if it was still safe to even be near or of they would be forced to remove their base from the area. Years ago the land had been used as a battleground for ownership over the riches of the land. But something had spilled into the air causing erratic changes in the moods and mental behavior when breathed into the lungs. The fallout had been mostly cleared but there was a place surrounded by twisted trees and an uneven ground that even the most war hardened soldiers steered clear by the abandoned outpost that held so many rumors. Upon investigating they hear noises that the rumors had spoken of, only to find a bunker that had been covered by disgusting old lead barrels. When the four of them finally get it open, it reveals a soldier in old military fatigues reminiscent of the war fought long ago. But the issue was that they looked as if they hadn't aged since the fifty years the war was last fought in this area. Each man grows a soft spot for the soldier that was abandoned.

Price, Konig, Ghost, and Alex had been asked to be a part of a team that was created to help the new wave of expert soldiers and mercenaries being thrown out into the world, both on their side and opposing sides. It wasn't like they would refuse such an offer. It became easy to work next to one another. Price was the appointed leader, assuming some kind of fatherly role for the rest of the team. The team was transferred to a new base to train recruits and clear out the contaminated area where war once wreaked havoc only to leave chemical filled air that changes peoples personalities and even in large quantities can be fatal. It had to be surveyed for many reasons.

As the days went on, weird rumors circulated around a particular area that was covered in thick tress and overgrown weeds that ate any noise outside of its domain. Price would send many soldiers out to check the area only for them to come back within ten minutes or less. Scared out of their minds. Most of those who came back always muttered something about a ghost. While they should have taken the rumor more seriously, they continued to shrug off the instances. That was until Price, Konig, Ghost, and Alex have overheard a different rumor. About a soldier that had been once abandoned in the very area fifty years prior when the old war was at its peak. Their team had blamed the poor soldier for the chemicals in the air, not knowing it affected their thinking and had locked them away somewhere.

It caught Price, Konig, Ghost, and Alex' attention, maybe that had been the ghost everyone was raving about? Though ghost stories weren't always the driving force behind them going out there on their own. At least, that was what Price told his team as they started their expedition towards the area that had everyone so scared. And as soon as the four of them passed the first thicket, the noises began. But the air wasn't harsh to breathe lime they expected. The air was clean and not contaminated in the slightest. With their many years of experience in the military, they quickly realized the sound kept coming from the same location, meaning it could easily just be a trapped and scared animal wailing to get free. But as Price, Konig, Ghost, and Alex ventured forward, the noise changed into an eerie song. The words were understandable, making them quickly stand on edge. The hair on the back of their necks stood, but they kept pushing forward.

Price was going to suggest they turn back as the noise was under them and they couldn't find it, before the noise suddenly stopped. As if whatever it was could hear their footsteps. There were a few moments of complete silence before loud metal banging could be heard from underneath old lead barrels that oozed a dark purple liquid. Konig and Alex moved the barrels out of the way. The four of them held their breath as they noticed two old tin doors to an underground bunker. It felt as if the world stopped around them as the doors started to jostle and move.

"Price, what is your call? Do we shoot? Do we progress?" Alex asked with uneasiness heard in his voice. But Price couldn't think of what to say or do, so he reluctantly signaled for them to continue to open the two doors that seemed to be moving on their own. Konig and Ghost quickly tore the two doors open, Price and Alex had their weapons drawn just in case it was a threat, only for them all to slowly lower their weapons when a soldier in old military fatigues had emerged. Only their head popped out from the bunker. The clothes that the soldier was wearing were from the old war, but they looked in their early to late twenties. All they could do was stare in shock.
