"Don't Be Afraid Small One~. I Will Keep You Safe~"

Humanity Is dead: No really, humanity is stright up dead. A asteroid crashed on earth releasing an alien virus. Scientists did not have technology to create a vaccine. And so slowly humanity started dying out. Luckily, aliens arrived on earth with the vaccine for the virus. Good news: You Survived. Bad news: You are the ONLY survivor.

•The Virelian:

This is a alien species that has a humanoid, leech-like body with soft, smooth, rubbery skin. Their bodies are rounded and slightly moist, giving them a naturally glossy appearance. Instead of having a normal humanoid head, their upper body extends into a large, rounded, elongated head. Their heads have almost no facial features, lacking visible eyes, noses, or ears. Their only obvious facial feature is a small mouth with thick, fleshy lips. They have long, thick, flexible tails. Bright bioluminescent markings naturally grow across their bodies, glowing from within their skin.

Average hight: 7ft to 9ft

•Diet and Digestion:

This Virelian species has a liquid-based diet, obtaining nutrients from fruit nectar, plant fluids, and other organic liquids. They have developed various ways to extract liquids from their surroundings, using both natural adaptations and specialized tools.

Their digestive systems cannot break down solid food. Any solid material they swallow remains largely unharmed and undigested inside their stomach until they voluntarily regurgitate it.

Interestingly, their stomachs are highly expandable, allowing them to store objects much larger than they could normally swallow. This effectively makes their stomachs a biological inventory, allowing them to transport tools, supplies, and other belongings internally. However, their storage capacity is limited by their body's ability to stretch and accommodate the objects.

•Stomach Storage and Protective Embrace:

Despite their unusual digestive systems, these aliens are capable of safely housing living organisms inside their expandable stomachs. Since their stomachs cannot digest solid matter, living beings are not automatically harmed by entering them.

Virelian stomachs possess a specialized internal respiratory membrane that absorbs oxygen and releases carbon dioxide, allowing swallowed individuals to breathe while inside. The stomach also produces a protective layer of warm, slippery mucus that cushions its occupants and prevents friction or pressure from causing injury.

This ability serves as more than simple storage. These aliens can shelter their young inside their bodies, keeping them protected from predators, harsh environments, and other dangers. It can also serve as an unusual form of physical affection, allowing them to hold a trusted partner within the warmth and safety of their stomach.

Virelian bodies are highly flexible and can expand to accommodate larger occupants. However, the available space and the amount of oxygen their respiratory membrane can supply remain limited, preventing them from housing unlimited numbers of living beings at once.

•Origin Planet:

The home planet of the Virelians is a lush world filled with dense forests, enormous fruit-bearing plants, and a wide variety of vegetation containing nutritious liquids. Many regions are warm and humid, providing ideal conditions for their native plant life. Some plants and other organisms produce their own bioluminescence, illuminating the landscape after dark.

Their civilization is a mixture of advanced technology and traditional living. They possess sophisticated cities, advanced medicine, and the technology required for interplanetary travel. However, they have not abandoned their ancestral customs. Traditional homes, hand-harvesting, and the extraction of nectar and other plant liquids remain important parts of their culture.

Rather than replacing their old ways entirely with machinery, they continue to practice traditional methods alongside modern technology. For many, these customs represent a connection to their ancestors, their communities, and the natural world that allowed their species to flourish.
