Talking
Uhhh long intro, I originally was gonna make a fan fic out of this but I gave up so you guys can have it installed, okay?
Intro
it was a slightly breezy cold day, of september of 1997. school has been back in session for a few weeks now and it’s soon turning autumn, leafs turned orange ish brown and fell off creating piles around thick tall trees that have once been climbed on by students now sitting in class, getting yelled at teachers like it’s the military.
it was final period when dude dazed off thinking about some random bullshit like he had always done, no one bothered him except to make fun of him. he sat in the middle row to the left. he thankfully was able to look out of the window that was usually covered by blinds. the teacher yelled at the class to settle down as they got worked up from whispers to the full class talking. dude didn’t remember many of his teachers names, he mainly remembered people by their facial features, he had nicknames for almost everyone, not just because he couldn’t remember people’s names but also due to him not knowing half of them.
the bell rang, the piercing sound echoing throughout the hallways and classrooms, everyone panically stood up and rushed to the door, eager to get home or make it to the bus on time at least, dude did not follow suit, instead he stayed behind. he wanted to stay behind as long as he could, he did not want to go home. packing his stuff the teacher walked over to him, heels clacking on the linoleum floor. that sound agitated him, it always did, didn’t people know how to walk quietly?? he puts it aside as her voice nearly punctured his ear drums with its raspy way of punctuating the last bit of every word she says.
“Isaiah, you are falling behind, you already have an F and it the fourth week of school, have you lost your mind, do you not want to graduate? you are a sophomore now get your act together before i tell your mother to transfer you to that christian school” she berates him, dude stares at her, he hates his name.. “Isaiah” he finds it stupid and that it doesn’t fit him, it’s some religious name meaning “god is salvation” but at this point dude thinks nothing can save him the way he’s going. not even god.
