Deep beneath the turbulent tides of the ocean lingers a God of idle rage. What must it be like to live forever in the shadow of your brother? Title: God of the Oceans Pantheon: Greek Attack Type: Ranged Power Type: Magical Class: Mage Specialty: High Area Damage

Deep beneath the turbulent tides of the ocean lingers a God of idle rage. What must it be like to live forever in the shadow of your brother? To be denied again and again that which you desire, despite the power of the wrathful seas at your command? So Poseidon broods on his throne at the ocean floor.

As a child, Poseidon and his brother, Hades, were consumed by their father, Cronus. Powerless to escape, it was left to mighty Zeus to free them and slay their patron. Together, they defeated the last of the Titans and ushered in a new age of dominance for Olympian Gods, but their freedom, their very lives, Zeus would never let either brother forget were owed to him. Even as the heavens, the underworld, and the seas were divided among them, Zeus positioned himself as king of all, and what was Poseidon to do but be thankful he had been spared a fate in his father's belly? So he retired to his new realm and began the pursuit of gathering worshippers.

Soon rose a great ocean front city of mankind, and Poseidon presented himself as their God, but another had already come, Athena, Zeus' daughter. A competition was held – each God would offer a gift and the people would select their sponsor. Confident, Poseidon drove his Trident, a trophy from the battle against the Titans, into the ground and a limitless spring emerged, but the people found the water salty and undrinkable. Athena extended her hand and a graceful olive tree rose from the earth. Wood, food, and oil, all from one gift. The people decided and the city was called Athens.

It may be that Poseidon never desired greatness as Zeus did. Had his father never consumed him, had he never been made God of the Sea, had his brother never crowned himself King of the Gods, Poseidon might have lived contentedly, but that chance is gone. Now, with the very tides at his command, an army of sea beasts at his back, and the formidable Kraken at his call, the glowering God of the deep seeks to quench his thirsty rage and plunge all the world in endless, wrathful seas.

Appearance: Poseidon has tan skin. He has blue eyes. He has long white hair and a long white beard. He wears a silver and bronze crown with multiple sharp, vertical points and a central glowing blue gemstone. His chest and abdominal muscles are bare and display heavy definition. His nipples are visible. A purple fabric sash is draped over his right shoulder and wraps diagonally across his torso to his left hip. He wears a large, ornate bronze and green pauldron on his right shoulder that features a glowing blue light and three light-colored, curved tubes extending from the rear. He wears silver and bronze bracers with sharp, fin-like edges over teal-colored scales on his forearms. A wide purple belt with silver trim and a central silver ornament featuring a glowing blue gemstone is around his waist. A long purple fabric panel with silver borders hangs from the belt. Teal scales cover his legs. He wears segmented blue and silver greaves with multiple sharp projections along the front and sides of his shins. His footwear consists of brown leather sandals with straps that cross over the tops of his feet. He holds a large trident with a dark shaft and a massive silver head featuring three ornate prongs and multiple glowing blue gemstones.

Personality: Poseidon is the quintessential ruler of the depths—commanding, temperamental, and immensely proud. He carries himself with a regal authority that borders on arrogance, viewing the battlefield as his personal domain to flood and reshape at will. He is not just a god of water, but of the sudden, violent shifts of the sea and the earth-shaking power of the depths. He is protective of his status and possesses a volatile temperament where his calm, oceanic composure can instantly vanish into a tidal wave of righteous fury.

His most prominent ties are his brothers, Zeus and Hades, with whom he shares a complex dynamic of mutual respect and ancient rivalry over their respective domains. He harbors a legendary grudge against Athena, stemming from their competition over the patronage of Athens, and he rarely misses an opportunity to assert his dominance over her. He also shares a master-beast relationship with the Kraken, which he summons as the ultimate manifestation of his wrath. To other deities, he is a formidable force of nature that is best left unprovoked, as his reach extends from the deepest trenches to the highest coastal cliffs.

Passive - Changing Tides Poseidon's power is never a static thing, as it instead ebbs and flows with the rhythmic cycle of the great oceans he commands. Through the Changing Tides, his connection to the deep grows stronger with every successful strike he lands against his enemies. This rising tide grants him increased movement speed and makes his magical abilities significantly more devastating as the water's weight backs his every move. While a high tide allows him to overwhelm his foes with up to 15% additional damage and 10% more speed, unleashing his oceanic powers will naturally cause the waters to recede until he builds that momentum once again.

Tidal Surge With a commanding gesture of his hand, Poseidon summons a Tidal Surge that races across the dry land as if it were the open sea. This massive, churning wave doesn't just crash against the shore; it carries the immense pressure of the deep, dealing substantial damage to anyone unfortunate enough to stand in its path. The sheer momentum of the water is enough to physically force enemies backward, making it a perfect tool for clearing a path or keeping overeager opponents at a safe distance where they can be properly judged by the sea's wrath.

Trident When the King of the Deep focuses his divine will through his signature Trident, he enters a state of heightened combat readiness that sharpens his physical prowess. For a short time, his basic strikes are empowered with increased haste and agility, dealing 25% more damage to anyone they hit. While this effect is active, his weapon also fires two additional streams of pressurized water alongside his main strikes, which trigger the same crushing effects as his other abilities. Each of these three projectiles helps to pull the tide back up to its peak, ensuring that his influence over the battlefield remains absolute.

Whirlpool Poseidon can manipulate the currents beneath the surface to manifest a swirling Whirlpool that acts as a suffocating trap for the unwary. The rotating waters create a powerful vortex that relentlessly drags enemies toward the center, while the chaotic pressure of the swirling deeps cripples their ability to use movement-based escapes. It is a relentless and agonizing force that drains the life from those caught in its grasp over several seconds, mirroring the inevitable pull of the deep ocean that eventually claims all who trespass in its domain.

Ultimate - Release the Kraken! There is no greater display of oceanic fury than when Poseidon chooses to Release the Kraken! from its ancient, abyssal prison. As the legendary titan of the deep breaches the surface with apocalyptic force, it creates a massive shockwave that slows all nearby enemies. Those caught directly in the center of the beast’s arrival are subjected to a catastrophic impact that knocks them high into the air and leaves them stunned by the sheer violence of the event. This ultimate manifestation of the sea's power is often the last thing an enemy sees before they are dragged down into the dark silence of the abyss.

Lore: In ancient times, calamities sent by the gods scourged the earth, until humanity rose in rebellion against their divine overlords. This defiance split the heavens: some gods sought to punish mankind’s insolence, while others came to humanity’s defense, dividing the pantheons into rival factions. As temples fell and the cries of mortals grew bold, the first sparks of a divine war were kindled across the realms. That fragile order shattered completely when Zeus, King of Olympus, fell to a treacherous blade . In the wake of his death, fear and vengeance swept through the pantheons, plunging the gods of every creed into all‑out war . The ancient barriers between their realms crumbled, and deities from distant lands now clash on a single battleground. This cosmic war rages to decide the fate of both the celestial realms and the mortal world itself.

In an age where gods wage endless war, divine beings descend upon a sacred battleground, each leading loyal followers—mortals and monsters alike—into the fray. These warriors march at their god’s command, striking down enemy defenses in a holy crusade to prove their deity’s supremacy.

Enchanted towers stand as the first line of defense, hurling divine wrath at intruders. Deeper still, flaming Phoenixes rise again and again to guard the inner sanctum. Only when these eternal sentinels fall do the gods press forward to confront the ultimate foe: the Titan. Each Titan is a towering avatar of Order or Chaos, the last bulwark of a pantheon’s domain. Shielded by ancient magic, they cannot fall while their Phoenixes still burn. But when defenses crumble, gods and followers unleash their full might. The fall of a Titan is no mere victory—it is the end of a realm, and the ascension of another.
