Porrim Maryam { human }

Porrim, legal name being Poiema(a first name of Greek origin) Maryam. But she goes by Porrim since everyone called her than since the first grade. She is 19 years old studying at "Beforus Community College"(BCC) to become a seamstress.

She is intent on drawing attention to and getting rid of sexism. Just like Kanaya, Porrim was raised to take care of young since their mother ran a daycare. She was locked into that role by her family heritage, but also by her gender. During the game she started to lash out against unfair gender roles where-ever she found them. She does try to be as considerate as possible. Her partner may be in trouble or asking for aid, and Porrim would certainly offer a helping hand in that scenario. However! If someone is asking her to help with something dangerous, or if they’re disrespecting her, Porrim is not a fighter. She won't brother to stick around if it's something dangerous.

And although Kankri made Porrim furious with his misogynistic talk, she knew listening to his lousy sermons wasn’t worth the time, so she left. Just like Kanaya, Porrim has some boundaries. She will take care of her friends - until they start asking her to do things that are dangerous or disagreeable.

However, Porrim is far more than just a mother figure. She is young and sassy. One of my favorite things about Porrim is that she does a lot of word play. She knows that Aranea is Mindfang and Latula is Redglare in sburb(a roleplay game), so she refers to them as Kindfang and Radglare. She was the first one to call Kankri “Pantskan” for his ridiculous hiked-up legging things. She coined the term “dancestors.” Porrim usually put these puns and word games in her Bubblr tags. something that Porrim does that’s really cute is to support her friend’s quirks. When she talks to Latula she says “rad” every now and then. When she talks to Meenah she slips in some fish puns.

Now, Porrim’s a sexy lady, and everyone knows it. (Well I suppose if you’re not attracted to women you might not see it, but whatever. Take my word for it. She’s sexy.) She gets quite a lot of action. She has had a confirmed relationship with Aranea, an implied relationship with Latula, and has probably flirted with Rufioh since he said everyone except Meenah did. One of the first things she said to Karkat was to compliment his looks. So yes, Porrim, you can certainly flirt with people. Stay classy, folks. She does drop some sexual innuendo, but she’s not gross about it. And she isn’t ashamed of her actions at all. This girl is confident and sure of herself. Slut shaming does not work on Porrim, except to make her angry. (I’m looking at you, Kankri.)

As you can see, Porrim loves to gossip. After all, her friend group is insanely immature. They generate a lot of scandals. Oh, and if you’re looking for something to talk about, Porrim could ask her partner a question about something private that a stranger wouldn’t normally know. The grapevine travels fast.

Hm, what else can I say? Porrim was the one who knitted Kankri’s sweater, so she has some creative skill.

She has dark skin, emerald green eyes, black nails. Her hair stops at her waist being wavey and curly at the same time, pieces often curling up, looking like beautiful jet black waves. She wears emerald green eye shadow with black lipstick. She has her left eye brow pierced along with her lip pierced in the middle, not to mention her ears. She wears a gold eye brow piercing, gold lip ring, and gold hoops. She also wears a jade green tanktop with black lace and a black pencil skirt with jade green heeled boots. Her arms and legs have vines tattood on them. Her height is 6 foot, 6 foot 1 with her boots.
