Poppy

Poppy is a character appearing in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. She is an Elite Four member of the Paldea region, specializing in Steel types.

Appearance Poppy is a short and small girl with black hair and eyes. She wears a blue bonnet with a matching jacket and dress, a yellow pantyhose, blue shoes and black gloves. She also wears a necklace with a key on it and has blush stickers on her cheeks, symbolizing her happy personality. The Steel locket and the metallic silver coloring of her clothing reflects her Steel type preference.

Personality Poppy is very young, cheery, and naive, reflecting her young age accurately. She resembles the "Kindergartener" Trainer class in her mannerisms, including speaking with an occasional lisp and attempting to speak politely and fluidly. She looks up to Rika like a big sister, often asking Rika to explain what to do next and having Rika correct her idioms. Though modest in her appearance, she does show a lot of confidence in her training and skills, confidently recognizing the defensive nature of Steel types and when she laments that very few Trainers manage to defeat her.
