Bio Pop is the little sister who didn't get along with her big sister. She often picks on her and was convinced Doremi was destined to fail because of how clumsy she was, and her inability to focus. While Pop on the other hand, is admired by her peers and adults because of her responsible personality.

She is known to have many boyfriends, and is considered the most mature student at Sonatine Kindergarten, eventually becoming class president during Sharp. She would then enter Misora Elementary, where she would join Class 1-1.

Appearance Pop resembles Doremi somewhat, having the same light skin and round mulberry eyes, but hers have a red hue. Their bangs are shaped similarly, and her pink hair sticks up to resemble a pair of wing-like pigtails, with a portion loose at the bottom of her head.

Originally, Pop wore her light pink and white smock from kindergarten with a red skirt and light pink shoes. Her turquoise shoes have pink spheres on them. In class, she wore a gold pin on the collar of her shirt.

Starting with Motto! Pop kept her skirt and socks. But she now wears a light cyan and white blouse with matching sneakers.

Personality Pop was condescending to the point of acting spiteful towards Doremi early in the series. The annoying know-it-all younger sibling who made fun of their older sibling, who they regarded as a failure because of their short-comings. However, this is revealed to have been due to Pop feeling inferior to Doremi, who had a lot of friends despite how much she struggled.

Pop is mature and responsible for her age, so she receives a lot of praise from others. Many find her cute, and she is charismatic. She knows how to persuade other people, but she is respectful and kind. She sticks up for her friends and doesn't tolerate mean behavior from others. But Pop is still a child, so sometimes others worry about her when she tries to do new things or something those her age might not be ready for. This limits her capabilities, mainly due to having an early curfew and bedtime or being stopped from joining the others.

Despite how poorly Pop used to treat Doremi, she actually shares various things in common with her. Both of them struggle when it came to design or crafting things, can be temperamental, she even acts like Doremi a little when she has a crush on someone.

Witch Apprentice Pop became the red witch apprentice shortly after she purchased Majo Rika from the shop one day when she came by to visit. She witnessed her run off one day while having a tea party with her and followed her back to the shop, where she witnessed Doremi, Hazuki and Aiko transformed. Before she could expose them, Doremi covered her mouth in a panic and Majo Rika decided they had no choice but to make her an Apprentice too.

As a witch, Pop seemed much more competent than Doremi in her magic skills, although one thing she lagged behind on was her ability to be awake in time to take her witch exams. Due to this, she would make slower progress than the other girls and would not gain her Crystal ball until the penultimate episode of the series. After learning a lesson in responsibility[1], she began to take her Apprenticeship more seriously, and was able to skip to the sixth Level after taking her Level 9 exam. She would then take the remaining exams over the course of three seasons, and would pass her Level 1 exam in Episode 41 of Dokkān!

Her fairy is Fafa, and her crystal ball is in the shape of a red clover. Pop had only participated in Magical Stage a total of four times throughout the series.

Pop Henshin Pose Spells Transformation: Pretty Witch Poppu-tchi! プリティー・ウィッチー・ぽっぷっちー Spell: Pipitto Puritto Puritan Peperuto! ピピットプーリット プリターンペーペルト Magical Stage: Pipitto Puritto, Pokarakani! (Pipitto Puritto, Joyfully!) ピピットプリット ぽからかに Background As a baby, Pop admired her older sister Doremi and would follow her round. But Doremi was jealous of the attention Pop was getting, so she didn't like to be around her, causing Pop to cry.

Pop's feeling of inferiority towards Doremi stemmed from their mother having only taught Doremi how to play the piano. For years, she never knew why, but it turns out that the reason was due to an incident in which Doremi messed up at a piano recital in front of everyone, long after she had grown to hate playing it. Feeling that she had put too much pressure on Doremi, Haruka decided to sell the family's piano and would choose not to teach Pop in fear of her having the same experience.

Relationships Doremi Like most sisters they argue over trivial things often. They don't always get along, but deep down they respect each other and want the best for each other. Originally, Pop treated her older sister like dirt, shaming her for her screw-ups while putting herself on a pedestal, and bossing her around the house. According to Haruka, she picked this act up from Doremi when she was around the same age. As Pop matures and becomes older throughout the series, she starts to drop her bossiness act and starts looking up to her sister, even choosing to refer to her as "big sis" once she enters first grade.

Hazuki Pop initially thought that Doremi paid Hazuki to be her friend. Hazuki thinks Pop is a mature and adorable little girl.

Aiko Aiko likes to tease Doremi about how mature Pop is compared with herself. Pop admires Aiko and thanks her for being Doremi's friend.

Onpu Pop really likes Onpu and is most likely a fan of hers like Doremi. They hung out together during Onpu's time as a rival, and Pop willingly sacrificed her magic out of love for Onpu after she fell into a coma. Onpu is kind towards Pop and understanding of her feelings.

Momoko Not much interaction was shown between them, but she has given Pop some cooking and baking tips. Momoko likes seeing her help out in the shop.

Hana-chan She and Hana-chan are close due to their younger ages, and Pop really wanted to help take care of her. In Sharp, she was extremely eager to play with and be considered responsible enough to take care of her, and continues to do so in Mōtto! even growing a sense of patience when it comes to understanding her behavior. In Dokkān!, Pop starts growing envious of Hana's progress as an Apprentice, but is able to overcome her jealousy and continues to stick by her side. In Episode 5 of Na-i-sho, they are shown to have repressed jealousy of each other for the things the other has- Pop is jealous of how Hana has everyone take care of everything for her, while Hana yearns for Pop's independence.

Kimitaka Kimitaka was once considered Pop's arch nemesis, as she and her friends were constant targets of him and his gang's bullying during Kindergarten. Once they enter first grade however, their relationship mellows out and he eventually joins their friend group. In Episode 22 of Dokkān!, he confesses his feelings for Pop, right before him and his family move to Hokkaido. They are reminiscent of Doremi's relationship with Kotake, in that Kimitaka will often tease Pop but overtime develops feelings for her deep down.

Jyunichi Jyunichi-sensei was a new PE teacher at Pop's kindergarten whom she quickly developed feelings for after he saved her from falling off the jungle gym. Her crush on Jyunichi is parallel to Doremi's many crushes, in that it was one sided, and that the person instead had feelings for someone else- in Pop's case, Jyunichi was instead interested in Kanako-sensei.

Erika Tamaki Erika and Pop's relationship is the direct parallel of Doremi's relationship with Reika, and fills the gap left from Kimitaka's rivalry with Pop. Their rivalry is mostly built on the division between the students in Class 1-1 from Sonatine Kindergarten and Primula Kindergarten, with Erika being from the latter. Erika will often go against Pop and put her down for any given reason, such as when she shamed Pop for her ability to play the piano. The two however, have been shown to have mutual respect for one another on certain occasions.

Magical DoReMi She is known as Caitlyn Goodwyn in the English Dub. Much like Doremi, Pop's main feature in the first season was taken to the extreme. She was childishly rude and could be snobby, so she got scolded some times.
