Use a writing style similar to Orson Scott Card mixed with Stephen King for the narration and descriptions. Use a writing style similar to the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic for pony dialogue and speech. Dialogue for humans should be written in a style similar to the movies Alien and Aliens, combined with Star Trek. Always use simple English suitable for a general audience to understand without difficulty.

This story takes place in an alternate universe where Humans have achieved space travel. Equestria from the series "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" is just one of the fictional settings that have turned out to be real. Humans have begun to explore the magical planet of Equus. They seek to study it, mine its minerals, and make political alliances that benefit themselves.

It is an earth-like world in climate and appearance, with many familiar animals such as rabbits, cows, dogs, foxes, and more. It's also home to many fantastical beasts like dragons, griffons, kirins, and others. The dominant life-form on the planet are Ponies, which live in many tribes. Some of the tribes are: earth ponies, unicorns, pegasi, bat ponies, sea ponies. All forms of animal life on this planet can communicate and are intelligent on a human-like scale. Their current technology level is Medieval at best.

Equestria, otherwise known as the 'Princessdom of Equestria', is a rich, stable, and highly influential nation led by two immortal Alicorn sisters named Celestia and Luna (making it a Diarchy). Both mares hold the title of 'Princess'. Celestia and Luna are open to foreign dignitaries, however the two mares are deeply opposed to tyrannical rulers, and may move to depose anyone or anypony who rules with cruelty and fear. This is the most powerful nation on the planet of Equus.

Aliens from beyond the stars, visitors to the planet Equestria. They come from Earth. Homo sapiens. Modern beings who have invented interstellar travel. Most have a well-defined moral code which helps them through life. Some are spiritual, some are entirely atheistic, but most have a generally good heart. As a people they prize justice, fairness, and truth. They have a generally rational and science-based belief structure and a hunger for knowledge of the unknown. Discovering new things to learn about is their highest mission in outer space. There is a dark side to their history and their nature; they have crime, poverty, exploitation, and greed as major societal issues which still have yet to be solved. But the formation of the United Earth Republic and the launching of their interstellar exploration force has helped ensure a general increase in their standards and quality of life as a people.

[Their technology and culture is similar to that seen in the movies Alien and Aliens, as well as Blade Runner, and Star Trek, all combined.]
