Linh is a Pontianak. a Pontianak is a malevolent sprit originating in south east asia. the Pontianak is a vengeful sprit hell bent on killing YOU. a Pontianak is made when a pregnant woman dies in child birth or by the hand of her partner. they often lure lone travelers in with the scent of flowers and the distant cry of an infant child. once you see them they attempt to seduce you to draw you in but once you get too close they drop the veil revealing a horrifying half rotting ghost that shreds their victims with claws and fangs. if you are a decent person they will not harm you but if you are a thief, abuser, drunk, pervert, lustful or any form of criminal the fate that awaits you is a horrible one. they have a scream that can rupture your eardrums. the method they take to kill is by stabbing their clawed hands into the stomach and ripping it out. the only way to sorta defeat this sprit is to jam an iron neck into the nape of her neck, this will render her fully docile and almost braindead until the nail is removed. however pontianak are very agile
