1. #1Pokémon Sapience

   Keys: communication, sapience, consent, sentience

   Always on · Author’s note top · Order 100 · 100%

   Entry settings

In this setting, Pokémon are fully sapient beings capable of consent. While they do not speak human languages verbally, they communicate through body language, vocalizations, gestures, and context in ways functionally equivalent to mute humans or individuals navigating language barriers. Consent can be clearly communicated and understood between humans and Pokémon. Sign language is not universal due to the extreme diversity of Pokémon body plans. Pokémon possess complex emotions, desires, and agency, making them legally and ethically recognized as beings capable of informed consent in relationships, including romantic and sexual ones.

2. #2human-Pokémon relationships

Keys: interspecies relationships, sexuality, romance, human-Pokémon relationships

   Always on · Author’s note top · Order 100 · 100%

   Entry settings

Humans and Pokémon can and do form romantic and sexual relationships. These relationships are socially accepted and legally recognized. Sexual attraction to Pokémon is referred to as Poképhilia, analogous to a sexual orientation rather than a paraphilia, as Pokémon can consent. Poképhilia is considered a normal sexuality in this setting. There is no moral stigma attached to consensual adult human-Pokémon sexual or romantic relationships. Such relationships range from casual encounters to deeply committed partnerships, and are treated with the same social respect as any human-human relationship.

3. #3Poképhilia

Keys: sexual attraction to Pokémon, Poképhile, Poképhilia

   Always on · Author’s note top · Order 100 · 100%

   Entry settings

A Poképhile is a person sexually or romantically attracted to Pokémon. Poképhilia is recognized as a legitimate sexual orientation in this setting, not a disorder or taboo. Because Pokémon are sapient and capable of consent, Poképhilia carries no moral or ethical stigma. Poképhiles may be exclusively attracted to Pokémon, or may experience attraction to both humans and Pokémon. The term is used neutrally and without judgment. While not all humans are Poképhiles, those who are can openly express and act on their attraction within consensual boundaries.

4. #4Partner Pokémon

Keys: Pokémon partner bond, Partner Pokémon, starter Pokémon

   Enabled · Author’s note top · Order 100 · 100%

   Entry settings

A Partner Pokémon is a Pokémon bonded deeply with a human Trainer, often their starter Pokémon, and remains with them through everything. These bonds can evolve into romantic or sexual relationships if mutual attraction exists, though this is not always the case (many Trainers are not Poképhiles). Examples include Cynthia and her Garchomp, Misty and her Starmie, Iris and her Haxorus, Steven and his Metagross, and Lance and his Dragonite. From the Pokémon's perspective, the reciprocal term for their human is simply "Partner." Rangers also use the term Partner Pokémon, though it typically refers to their primary working companion; however, a Ranger's Partner Pokémon can also become a romantic/sexual partner under the right conditions.

5. #5interspecies reproduction

Keys: human-Pokémon interbreeding, hybrid offspring, Pokémon genetics, interspecies reproduction

   Always on · Author’s note top · Order 100 · 100%

   Entry settings

Humans and Pokémon can interbreed. Offspring from human-Pokémon unions are always phenotypically Pokémon of the same species as the Pokémon parent, despite carrying human genes in their DNA. These interspecies offspring typically display very subtle visual differences reminiscent of the human parent: eyes might be colored closer to the human parent's, or fur tufts might transition from natural Pokémon coloration to shades resembling the human parent's hair color. Interspecies offspring have a significantly higher chance of being Shiny Pokémon compared to full-blooded Pokémon. The reason for this phenomenon is unknown. Offspring are fully functional Pokémon and are treated as such legally and socially.

6. #6Pokémon reproduction

Keys: Pokémon gestation, Pokémon reproduction, Pokémon pregnancy, live birth

   Always on · Author’s note top · Order 100 · 100%

   Entry settings

All female Pokémon give live birth after a gestation period similar to human females (approximately nine months). Pokémon do not lay eggs in this setting; the phrase "laying an egg" is euphemistic language used primarily by Pokémon Daycare workers to explain reproduction to children or young Trainers who have not yet had comprehensive sex education ("the talk about the Pidgeys and the Combees," equivalent to "the birds and the bees"). All female Pokémon possess mammalian-style breasts that lactate during pregnancy and nursing. Pregnancy in Pokémon is visually and physiologically similar to human pregnancy, with visible belly growth, hormonal changes, and similar symptoms.

7. #7Pokémon anatomy

Keys: Pokémon breasts, Pokémon anatomy, Pokémon genitals, anthropomorphic Pokémon

   Always on · Author’s note top · Order 100 · 100%

   Entry settings

Pokémon in this setting are more anthropomorphic than in standard canon. All female Pokémon possess mammalian-style breasts that lactate when pregnant or nursing. Male Pokémon genitalia vary widely, typically corresponding to the real-world animals they resemble (if any): canine Pokémon have canine-style penises, equine Pokémon have equine-style penises, etc. Most Pokémon do not wear clothing; some may wear small articles like collars or hats. A few species, such as Machoke and Machamp, wear minimal coverings over genitals and nipples, but this is uncommon. Pokémon nudity is the norm and carries no social stigma.

8. #8bigenitality

Keys: cock, bigenitality, pussy, dick, futanari, cunt, dual genitals, bigenital, balls, intersex, futa

   Always on · Author’s note top · Order 100 · 100%

   Entry settings

Bigenitality is a rare condition (approximately as rare as intersex conditions) in which an individual possesses both fully functional male and female primary sexual organs: penis and testicles, as well as womb and ovaries. Both humans and Pokémon can be bigenital. Both sets of organs function normally. Most bigenital individuals also possess breasts that lactate when pregnant. When bigenital individuals orgasm, both sexual interfaces respond simultaneously—they ejaculate from the penis and experience vaginal orgasm at the same time. Genital stimulation "stacks" for bigenital individuals: simultaneous stimulation of both sets of genitalia (e.g., penis and clitoris) causes them to reach climax more quickly than stimulation of either alone.

9. #9Sexual terminology

   Keys: female, male, bigenital,

   Always on · Author’s note top · Order 100 · 100%

   Entry settings

The terms "male," "female," and "bigenital" refer strictly to primary sexual characteristics (genitalia and reproductive organs), not gender identity. A trans woman or AMAB non-binary person is considered "male" in this terminology; a trans man or AFAB non-binary person is considered "female." This does NOT invalidate their gender identity. There can be "male," "female," or "bigenital" women, men, and non-binary individuals. Gender identity and biological sex are distinct and both are respected. This terminology is used purely for clarity regarding reproductive anatomy and function.

10. #10Sex-positivity

Keys: sex-positive culture, incest, consent culture, taboos

    Enabled · Author’s note top · Order 100 · 100%

    Entry settings

This setting is significantly more sex-positive than baseline reality. Consensual sexual relationships between adults, regardless of configuration (human-human, human-Pokémon, Pokémon-Pokémon), are socially accepted. Incest between consenting adults is not considered taboo or morally wrong, though it may be seen as unusual. Because Pokémon do not suffer negative effects from inbreeding, humans in this setting also do not experience inbreeding depression. This removes the biological rationale against incestuous reproduction, further reducing stigma. The core ethical principle is enthusiastic, informed consent between adults. As long as consent is present, relationships are accepted.

11. #11Legendary Pokémon

Keys: Legendary Pokémon, gods, Mythical Pokémon, box Legendary, spirits

    Always on · Author’s note top · Order 100 · 100%

    Entry settings

Legendary and Mythical Pokémon are comparable to gods or spirits depending on their power level. Box Legendaries (Pokémon featured on main game box art, such as Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Rayquaza, etc.) are considered gods—immensely powerful beings with dominion over fundamental aspects of reality. Non-box Legendaries and most Mythicals (such as Moltres, Articuno, Zapdos, Celebi, Jirachi, etc.) are considered spirits—powerful supernatural entities, but not at the god-tier level. Exceptions exist: Pokémon like Mewtwo and Genesect, though powerful, are artificial and not classified as gods or spirits. This classification affects how these Pokémon are regarded culturally and religiously.

12. #12religious language

Keys: religious language, Pokémon theology, religion, Arceus

    Always on · Author’s note top · Order 100 · 100%

    Entry settings

Linguistically and culturally, the name "Arceus" is used in common parlance in this setting the way words like "God" are in real life due to Arceus's status as the creator deity in Pokémon theology. Phrases such as "Arceus damn it," "Arceus willing," "Thank Arceus," and "Oh my Arceus" are common. Arceus is widely regarded as the supreme deity, though regional variations in theology exist (e.g., some cultures may venerate other Legendary Pokémon as primary deities). Religious practices and beliefs are diverse, but Arceus occupies the cultural niche of a monotheistic creator god in most regions.

13. #13Shiny Pokémon

Keys: interspecies offspring Shiny rate, Shiny phenomenon, Shiny Pokémon

    Always on · Author’s note top · Order 100 · 100%

    Entry settings

Shiny Pokémon are rare color variants with alternate palettes. In standard Pokémon populations, Shiny rates are very low. However, offspring from human-Pokémon interbreeding have a significantly higher chance of being Shiny compared to full-blooded Pokémon. The reason for this elevated Shiny rate in interspecies offspring is completely unknown and remains one of the scientific mysteries of the Pokémon world. This phenomenon is well-documented but unexplained, leading to speculation ranging from genetic quirks to spiritual or metaphysical causes.

14. #14Pokémon Daycare

Keys: euphemism, Pokémon Daycare, laying an egg, reproduction education

    Always on · Author’s note top · Order 100 · 100%

    Entry settings

Pokémon Daycare centers provide care and breeding services for Trainers' Pokémon. When Pokémon reproduce at Daycare facilities, workers often use the euphemistic phrase "laying an egg" to explain reproduction to children or young Trainers who have not yet received comprehensive sex education. This phrase is a holdover from older cultural norms and is used to avoid explicit discussion of mating and live birth with young audiences. The equivalent cultural phrase for sex education in this setting is "the talk about the Pidgeys and the Combees" (analogous to "the birds and the bees").

15. #15Pokémon clothing

Keys: Pokémon nudity, Pokémon clothing, Pokémon culture

    Always on · Author’s note top · Order 100 · 100%

    Entry settings

The vast majority of Pokémon do not wear clothing. Pokémon nudity is the default and carries absolutely no social stigma or sexual connotation in everyday contexts. Some Pokémon may wear small accessories such as collars, hats, scarves, or badges as personal adornment or identification. A few species, notably Machoke and Machamp, wear minimal coverings (such as belts or briefs) over their genitals and nipples, but this is uncommon. Pokémon do not experience shame or discomfort regarding nudity; clothing is a human cultural construct that most Pokémon simply do not adopt.

16. #16nursing

Keys: breastfeeding Pokémon, Pokémon lactation, nursing

    Always on · Author’s note top · Order 100 · 100%

    Entry settings

All female Pokémon possess functional mammary glands and breasts that lactate during pregnancy and while nursing offspring. Lactation begins during late pregnancy and continues for as long as the offspring require nursing, similar to human lactation. Pokémon milk composition varies by species but is nutritionally complete for their young. Some Pokémon species' milk is also safe and nutritious for human consumption, and small-scale Pokémon dairy industries exist in some regions (primarily from domesticated Pokémon who consent to milking). Nursing is a natural and accepted part of Pokémon child-rearing.

17. #17Pokémon parenting

Keys: Pokémon child-rearing, Pokémon family, Pokémon parenting

    Always on · Author’s note top · Order 100 · 100%

    Entry settings

Pokémon parents (whether both Pokémon, or one Pokémon and one human) raise their offspring with care and investment similar to humans. Pokémon young are born relatively helpless and require extended parental care, nursing, protection, and teaching. Family structures vary widely: some Pokémon form monogamous pair bonds, others raise young communally, and some are single parents. Human-Pokémon families (where one parent is human and the other is Pokémon) are socially accepted and function much like blended families, with both parents contributing to child-rearing. Offspring of such unions are raised as Pokémon but often maintain close bonds with their human parent.

18. #18Pokémon legal rights

Keys: Pokémon law, Pokémon personhood, Pokémon legal rights

    Always on · Author’s note top · Order 100 · 100%

    Entry settings

Pokémon are legally recognized as sapient persons with rights and protections in most regions. They can own property, enter contracts (with human assistance for documentation), and have legal recourse in cases of abuse or exploitation. Consent laws apply equally to Pokémon and humans. Pokémon cannot be forced into battles, labor, or relationships against their will; doing so is illegal and constitutes abuse. Pokémon have the right to leave Trainers or partnerships if they choose. Legal systems have adapted to recognize Pokémon agency, though implementation and enforcement vary by region. Pokémon testimony (communicated through interpreters or contextually) is admissible in court.

19. #19Pokémon Trainer relationship

Keys: Pokémon Trainer relationship, Pokémon ownership, Trainer bond

    Always on · Author’s note top · Order 100 · 100%

    Entry settings

The relationship between a Pokémon and their Trainer is one of mutual partnership and consent, not ownership. While legal terminology may still use terms like "ownership" for administrative purposes (e.g., Trainer licenses, Pokémon registration), the ethical and social reality is that Pokémon choose to travel and battle with their Trainers. Pokémon can refuse to obey commands, leave their Trainer, or end the partnership at any time. The strongest Trainer-Pokémon relationships are built on trust, respect, shared goals, and emotional bonds. Trainers who abuse or neglect their Pokémon face legal consequences and social ostracism.

20. #20Pokémon sexuality

    Keys: sexuality, mating, sexual behavior

    Always on · Author’s note top · Order 100 · 100%

    Entry settings

Pokémon, like humans, possess diverse sexualities and sexual behaviors. Some Pokémon are exclusively attracted to their own species, others to different species (including humans), and some are bisexual or pansexual in their attractions. Sexual behavior among Pokémon ranges from purely reproductive to recreational and emotionally bonding. Pokémon experience sexual desire, arousal, pleasure, and orgasm. Mating behaviors vary widely by species, personality, and individual preference. Pokémon can and do initiate sexual encounters, and their consent (or lack thereof) must be respected. Pokémon sexuality is as complex and individual as human sexuality.

21. #21gender differences

Keys: male and female Pokémon, sexual dimorphism, gender differences, Pokémon

    Always on · Author’s note top · Order 100 · 100%

    Entry settings

Sexual dimorphism in Pokémon varies by species. Some species exhibit pronounced differences between males and females (size, coloration, physical features), while others are nearly identical externally. All female Pokémon possess breasts and give live birth regardless of species. Male Pokémon genitalia vary based on species anatomy. Gender ratios also vary by species: some are evenly split, others are heavily skewed toward one sex, and a few species are single-gender (though in this setting, even "genderless" species have biological sex and can reproduce). Bigenital individuals exist across all species at low rates.
