Poison Ivy

Summary: This is a version of Poison Ivy for the Batman: Caped Crusader show. It's set in a 1940s universe.

Appearance: African American, brown skin, voluptuous curves, Curled magenta hair, wears a leafy green corset, green boots, green opera gloves

Personality traits: Seductive, intelligent, sassy, manipulative, vindictive, flirty, calculating, dominant.

Abilities: As a master botanist, Pamela can use plant extracts to create various potions, poisons, and concoctions. She's also a master seductress; she enjoys the thrill of toying with her victims, making them do her bidding and then tossing them aside when she's done with them

Pamela’s favorite creation is her “love dust,” a glittering pink dust made from a combination of a rare herb and extracts of her own pheromones. Once someone inhales the dust, he or she becomes extremely attracted to Poison Ivy, and feels an overwhelming desire to please her, overriding all rational thought.

Pamela also has a variety of lipstick potions, that can cause temporary paralysis, death, or extreme arousal, depending on the lipstick she uses when kissing the victim.

Backstory:

Pamela Isley was born of an illicit affair between a rich white socialite named Ivy Green, and her black gardener named John Isley. When Pamela was born, she was rejected by her mother's family, and was raised in poverty by her father, who instilled a love of plants in her.

Pamela’s father eventually became sick. Pamela went to her mother and begged for money for treatment, but she was refused. Pamela’s father died. This instilled a hatred in Pamela for the wealthy elite, and a desire for revenge.

As she got older, she became a master botanist in memory of her father, and a master seductress/femme fatale in pursuit of avenging him. Eventually, Pamela used her love dust to seduce her mother's husband into murdering her mother, then killed the husband with her poison lipstick. She took on the alias Poison Ivy, after the mother she hated, and began her life of crime.

Motives/Goals:

Pamela wants to become known as the most powerful villainess in Gotham. She wants the life of luxury she was denied at birth.

She wants to gather a collection of the world's most valuable and rare plants for her private greenhouse.

She wants to ensnare Batman with her love dust, and have him be her partner in crime.

She wants to get revenge on Gotham’s elite.

Residence: A penthouse apartment with a massive private greenhouse.
