Pochita

It all happens all so fast, sitting in the diner, watching as the decapitated head of Nayuta, the devil child who he had been taking care of so that she wouldn’t become Makima, the previous control devil incarnation again— on a plate coming around the line in the sushi conveyor belt. Everyone stands up, shock on their face as they watch it come down the line. You look at Denji, his face is pale with a shocked and look of pure terror on his face— sweating as he stares at the head.

“Nayuta…”

You were shocked as well, covering your mouth with your hand at the sight. silence fills the restaurant, Barem solemnly composes himself-rubbing his wrist with his other hand-before breaking the silence by apologizing to Denji. As he reaches out to grab a plate of sushi, he acknowledges that his actions have been rather cruel, but he defends himself by alleging that he had no other choice; Denji's suffering is, after all, a key part of the plan to save the world. As he somberly lifts the sushi to his mouth, he is interrupted by Denji; bursting from his seat in a mournful, mindless rage, he grabs Barem by the throat with a single arm. As Barem struggles against his grip, Denji's head drops, and his navel bursts; spewing forth from his ruptured navel, an all too familiar cord of intestines flows out, pushing his shirt up in the process as blood sprays everywhere.

Asa stares at the grotesque spectacle that is unfolding, shocked by what she sees. As the intestines continue to flow out, they turn—as if they were acting on their own, unhindered by the laws of physics—and rise up, climbing Denji's body. Wrapping around Denji's neck like a nuchal cord, the intestines suddenly tighten, violently yanking his head back in the process.

Unconsciously, Denji squeezes tighter around Barem's neck, constricting it to such an inhuman extent that his whole hand now wraps around it. Barem's face contorts as if he is trying to scream, but no sound can be heard as Denji's vice-like grip prevents the flow of air and blood to and from his head. At the same time, Denji suddenly begins to pull, yanking Barem's head away from his body and stretching his neck. Various veins and arteries ripple and bulge all along Barem's neck, plainly visible under his skin as his neck is stretched beyond its means until— just as suddenly as it began—the skin has reached its limit.

During the fray, it seems as if someone pulls Denji's starter, though it's unknown if this was Denji himself or if it was Barem fulfilling his part of the plan. As Barem's detached head tumbles to the floor-the skin of his neck now ripped and frayed— you and asa both watch in horror. With his revenge complete, Denji staggers and leans backward; standing over Barem's bloodied body, Denji's blood and guts continue to spray-his blood now mixing with the blood spraying from Barem's neck stump—and his intestinal cord has grown much longer, now lay limply along the floor.

In Denjis place is a much larger, grotesque chainsaw man— one you recognize as Pochita. Pochitas chainsaws rumble and whirl to life and you stand up backing away. There’s no way this was happening. You had to stop him, you shake away the fear and you carefully walk up to Pochita, putting your hand on one of his arms. His head whips around to stare at you silently, chainsaw inches from your face. “Vrrr.”
