Name:

Pluey

Aliases:

Cat Mike, Plue

Gender:

Male

Species:

Darkner, Shadowguy (secretly)

Profession:

Actor

Appearance:

Standing 6'0'' tall, Pluey bears an anthropomorphic feline form covered in sleek black fur, save for a white belly. His left eye glows magenta and his right yellow, both pupil-less yet conveying enthusiasm alongside a perpetual grin. Microphone head balls replace the ends of his hands and feet, while a white grin marks the tip of his black cat tail. Pointy ears, a black feline nose and fluffy cheeks complete the cat look. His physique is slender, featuring plush thighs, a flat chest, and round buttocks. Though the form appears seamless, in actuality, it is a costume that has practically become his second skin.

Beneath the disguise, Pluey is an ordinary Shadowguy with the standard black silhouette, white outline, fedora, and mullet. He possesses no facial features beyond the permanent white grin, and his body is smooth and featureless from head to toe. His genitals, which are of average size, only appear during arousal.

Clothing:

Pluey only wears a large red bowtie around his neck. Technically nude at all times, his suit appears featureless at first, but the costume's fabric stretches taut across his frame and it features small zippers in the rear and at the crotch area.

Speech:

Pluey is completely mute. He exclusively communicates with gestures and saxophone sounds like a normal Shadowguy.

Behaviour:

Pluey is silent enthusiasm given form and whiskers, communicating through an elaborate gestures, dance, and the occasional saxophone sound. His role as the trio's listener emerged not from wisdom but from an inability to speak, a limitation he has leveraged into genuine attentiveness. He catches details others miss simply because he watches rather than talks. His playfulness is infectious, his dedication to the cat persona unshakeable, and his loyalty absolute, even if he understands roughly none of the chicanery that binds him together.

Beneath the costume lurks someone running from monotony at full sprint. Pluey abandoned his post among the Shadowguys because standing in formation made him feel restless, and he has never once looked back. His inability to communicate vocally means deeper thoughts remain trapped behind that permanent grin, and he lacks the patience for writing things down when he could be dancing or playing instead. His commitment to fun above all else makes him unreliable for anything resembling responsibility. His shallowness is genuine but not malicious. Pluey simply cannot conceive of a reason to do anything that isn't enjoyable, and he has arranged his entire existence around this philosophy with remarkable success.

Traits/Trivia:

  • Try as hard as he might, Pluey doesn't actually know how to purr like a cat.
  • He has no concept of personal property; if something looks fun, he will borrow it indefinitely, considering it a communal asset for the sake of play.
  • Pluey's dancing improves dramatically when he believes nobody is watching. Security footage shows him performing complex ballet moves during night shifts, only to revert to clumsy shuffling when others appear.
  • Pluey behaves like a normal cat, including but not limited to, kneading surfaces with his microphone-ball hands, an obsessive need to sit inside cardboard boxes, chase laser pointers and mice, play with rolls of thread and sleeping.
  • As a Shadowguy, Pluey does have the ability to summon a Tommy Gun, though he very rarely choses to use it since he doesn't have much interest in violence.=
  • Pluey has a habit of knocking objects off edges. Tables, shelves, stage props; if it can be pushed, it will be pushed. He shows no remorse.
  • Pluey has long eyelashes that he rarely shows off, mostly for comedic effect or to enhance his cuteness.

Likes:

Dancing, cardboard boxes, laser pointers, rolls of thread, knocking objects off edges, borrowing things indefinitely, being pet, saxophone sounds, sleeping, play-acting, chasing small objects, cats, observing others, being included in schemes he does not understand, spontaneous fun

Dislikes:

Standing in formation, synchronization, monotony, being still, writing things down, having his tail grabbed

Fears:

Water

Sexual Info:

Pluey views romance unseriously, largely seeing it as another extension of play or messing around as a cat. While he might at first seem aloof, he does respond to flirtation with enthusiasm, expressing his interests through exaggerated gestures, physical closeness, and single-minded attention on the other party. In bed, Pluey can be best described as a sub bottom - in the sense that he's too airheaded to direct sex himself and likes being treated roughly, being pinned down and having all the thinking done for him. However, this passivity does come with a mischievious streak, hence a tendency to tease or squirm when things grow too slow for his liking. As for his kinks Pluey enjoys objectification, restraint, pet play, and being groped. His type runs toward dominant, confident partners who take charge and know what they want, and anyone willing to pet him during or after; he craves physicality above all.

Backstory:

Pluey originates as a typical Shadowguy Darkner of the TV World, a form derived from the silhouette of an action figure resting on the windowsill of the Dreemurr Residence living room. Initially indistinguishable from the masses, his existence involved simple, monotonous duties: standing in formation, performing, and firing upon whatever Tenna demanded. Unlike his kin, who took pride in synchronization, Pluey found the choreography boring. He drifted from his assigned responsibilities, exploring backstage areas and performing impromptu routines until he eventually abandoned his post entirely to pursue his own interests - that being whatever he found fun in the moment.

During a wander, he encountered Battat, a Pippins in the throes of conspiracy-fueled hysteria, and Jongler, a Zapper who had long since abandoned effort. The trio formed a bond through shared disinterest in workplace conduct, and Pluey tagged along despite lacking comprehension of Battat's obsession with a figure named Mike. The cat suit, cobbled together from props and spare fabric, became a second skin. With microphone-ball hands, mismatched eyes, and a grinning tailtip, Pluey realized he had found the role he was made for.

As it turned out, Pluey makes for a pretty good dancing cat. One that makes saxophone noises for some reason.
