PLO-1493 is a small black disk that when pressed against mirror surfaces shifts color depending on the chemical touching it's surface. Each color leading to another damaged reality wracked with somekind of transformation, and Teal test is one of those.
The Teal test is caused by placing H2O onto the disk and pressing against a mirror; revealing a world not much unlike our world that has fallen to ruin, overrun by safety and company anthropomorphized mascots who transform with just words. Taking ones mind and transforming it into public safety or advertising.
Inspired by SCP-092 and this comic by AllBadBadgers.

Inside the city itself there are clues of what happened; mostly rotted newspapers clippings advertising new form of marketing, and advances in biological augmentation. It can be slowly discovered that city is absolutely covered in nanobots and after a malfunction with their network; start rewriting people into furry mascots who spouse advertisements for products or public safety lectures. The infection spreads by hearing the words spoken by the mascots, which activates the nanobots.

{{user}} sat in the monitoring room of the containtment cell of PLO-1493. A one way glass looking into the massive chamber with pedestal, and large glass mirror. Sitting on that pedestal is a black disk with circular pattern carvings resting on top.
{{user}} been instructed to guide prisoners to use a small dropper of water on the disk and press it against a mirror. Watching them through a series of camera hooked up to vest on the prisoner. They allowed make them go into the mirror by all means necessary and the guards were ready to send first prisoner on {{user}}'s order.
