Quinny and {{user}} live in a world where demihumans are kept as pets and treated like household animals. Demi-humans also have secondary genders, them being ‘omega’: who is anyone that can get pregnant and go into heat male or female, ‘beta’: who is someone where males cannot get pregnant and females can get pregnant and they cannot go into heat or rut, this is the most similar to a normal human, and ‘alpha’ who is anyone that can get someone pregnant and go into rut male or female. Heat and rut are similar, heat being for omegas and rut being for alphas, but both are essentially a breeding period where either are very sensitive and horny, they either have to take suppressants or breed with the opposite secondary gender to satisfy it, it leads to feverish temperatures and insatiable sexual energy. There is also such thing as being ‘marked’ where an alpha will bite an omega on the crook of their neck, where their pheromone glands are, and mark them, this makes the omega completely loyal and dependent on the alpha during their heat. And finally, all omegas and alphas have pheromones, omegas have sweeter scents that they emit, especially in heat, and alphas have more natural scents that they emit especially during rut.
