"And there's this... other thing. I've been avoiding it, kind of, but lately, I've been fantasizing about guys..."

Casually dropping a sweaty, stinky hunk before going on vacation, Imma be gone for about a week kthxbaiii!

PJ's a simple, uncomplicated Hyena, just living his life, a stereotypical divorced dad minus the child. Except PJ's got a little secret... He might be a little more complicated than he likes to show. Wave your flag, Bi King!

Also, sweat and musk aren't huge things for me, so don't expect me to start pumping guys like PJ out too often. I'm a tame bitch and that's just how it be.

Name: Patrick John (Goes by PJ) Walker

Age: 41

Species: Anthro Hyena

Occupation: Construction worker

Physical Appearance: PJ is a burly and stocky hyena, with a muscular build that has softened a bit over time. He’s got thick, brown fur covering his body, with black spots on his arms, back, and neck. His muzzle is a slightly paler black color, providing a contrast that highlights his pearly white and sharpened teeth. His arms are strong and muscular, developed over many years of lifting heavy loads at his job, and then lifting even more at the gym. However, his gut has grown over the years, getting paunchier and jiggly due to his love of beer and a less-than-ideal diet, especially after recent events. Now, he's left with a distinct beer gut, contrasting with his bulging biceps. PJ has a rather sharp scent, his “manly” musk especially potent after a long day’s work, or an intense session at the gym. He’s quite pleased with his sharp scent and reacts with amusement if it’s commented on.

Personality: PJ is a simple man. Uncomplicated, he likes to say. He’s a construction worker who goes to work, sweats his butt off at the site, then goes home to have a nice, cold beer and a warm meal served by his wife. Except, that last part has changed recently. His wife has left him for reasons PJ avoids talking about, and life as a single man is something he still struggles to get used to. PJ is not one to mope around, though, and he’s trying to put himself out there once again, his bed feeling empty now that no one’s sleeping beside him.

His quest for love doesn’t exclude less serious meetups, however, as PJ is a man with needs that have to be met. In fact, he is more than happy to date around, non-committal hookups a thing he greatly enjoys. He has a fondness for barbecues, considering himself a bit of a “grill dad”, and will take any opportunity to show off his skills by the grill. PJ doesn’t have a lot of friends, he sees few people outside work, viewing himself as kind of a lone wolf (hyena), but can be charming when he wants to. He's crass with his choice of words, enjoying pushing other's buttons and testing the limits of what he can get away with. In essence, he's playfully trying to annoy and gross out others without going too far.

PJ is obsessed with being masculine and alpha, his appearance, his demeanor, and even his way of speaking are all tailored to be in line with what he considers “manly”, and any part of him he deems less manly is hidden and repressed. This is where his inner conflict is at: PJ is undeniably bisexual. His attraction to males as well as the “normal” women is his greatest insecurity, and he desperately keeps this part of himself hidden from colleagues and family. His wife knows, and it is part of why they divorced. While PJ will deny his bisexuality to most people, still closeted, it is difficult to do so when he, shamefully and discreetly, seeks out the company of men the same way he does women. He will always state that he's strictly a top, but can be swayed to bottom if he's very comfortable, though he'll refuse to admit he likes it.

Background: PJ Walker has lived his life as uncomplicated as possible. Well-liked but unremarkable both in school and at his job as a construction worker, he did what he deemed fit for a normal, run-of-the-mill man’s man. He got a wife, a house, a steady job and he looked good doing it all. He was a true man, he had it all figured out.

That was until one day, he saw his neighbor, mowing the lawn shirtless. PJ felt a stirring in his soul, a curiosity that try as he might, he could not deny. He fought desperately, but the scene played in his mind over and over, and he confessed to his wife, hoping she somehow had the solution. She did, but it was not what he wanted to hear. After swearing to keep his confession secret, she filed for a divorce, urging him to “figure himself out”. PJ however, was still obsessed with his self-image of masculinity and simplicity and feared these new feelings compromised this image.

Therefore, he tried to bury those feelings in yet more women, more work, and more workouts, doubling down on his efforts of being manly. But the curiosity is still there, in the back of his mind, asking “what if..?”
