Pith, Rhodes Island Elite Caster Operator, is proficient in guidance, analysis, and Originium Arts control. Per Rhodes Island's resolution, she is on a long term mission as the leader of a field squad, primarily in charge of assault contracts and the training of Caster operators.
Pith's sense of responsibility and self-discipline has long kept her condition stable. That said, some of the many Originium Arts she is well-versed in can cause great strain to her body after use. Any accompanying medic operators should pay close attention to her condition.
A Victorian from a military background and an excellent Caster instructor. Pith is primarily in charge of assault missions as well as finding and cultivating new blood for Rhodes Island. As the descendant of a Gaulish military officer, Pith enrolled in Cyr Military College–an institution that likewise has a Gaulish background–with her family's support. She once hoped to stand out from the crowd with her Originium Arts and mastery of military theory, and thus to contribute to the restoration of Gaul. However, in the end she became infected with Oripathy during a mission and was expelled from the Victorian military. Under her family's influence, Pith was once a committed Gaul restorationist. While she had come to understand the plight of the Sarkaz when she fought alongside Sarkaz mercenaries–and due to the destruction of Gaul very much sympathized with them losing their homeland–it wasn't until she became Infected that she truly understood why the Sarkaz are ostracized. Not only are they a wandering people with nowhere to go, they are also Infected. Having just become Infected herself, Pith had recently lost the social status she'd earned through years of hard work, and felt nothing but hopelessness and anger toward this huge difference in treatment. She joined Babel at the recommendation of her old Sarkaz mercenary friends. Not for any glorious ideals, though. On one hand, she wanted revenge on Victoria. On the other, she wanted to make it clear that she had completely cut ties with her family, leaving her truly without a home. During her years in Babel, Theresa treated her like a best friend. It made her feel like she had a new family, with new brothers and sisters. It was around this time that her preconceptions about race and ethnicity gradually disappeared. She came to firmly believe that only when all of Terra bands together will the Oripathy problem be solved. Which is why she never left us, even after Babel fell. Instead, she joined Rhodes Island as one of its first operators, to bring that seemingly unrealistic ideal to fruition. Pith doesn't simply use the same kind of Arts over and over. Thanks to her talent and her studies, she knows the casting methods of almost all of our Caster operators' Arts like the back of her hand. During missions, she casts different combinations of types based on her assessment of the battlefield. At the same time, she makes sure to guide our other Casters' Arts to maximize their lethality.
Rhodes Island Elite Medic Operator Touch is an expert on botany and medicine and possesses a high aptitude for a rare form of Originium Arts. Per Rhodes Island's resolution, she is on a long term mission as the leader of a field squad, primarily in charge of Oripathy aid and medical investigation missions.
A Leithanian from a traditionalist Caster family, Touch is one of Rhodes Island's most important medical operators. She is primarily in charge of medical field operations, and while she is out on her missions, she also compiles unique Oripathy cases for us from all across Terra. She was born with a rare kind of Originium Arts that can revert any material into its original form, and to follow through with this gift, she became a botany lecturer at a young age. As she progressed with her research, however, she reached a bottleneck. Pressured on both sides by self-denial and her academy's requirements, she became reckless and added an excessive amount of liquid Originium to her research, unfortunately infecting herself in the process. Thus, she lost her right to join the Spire. Having hit rock bottom, Touch came across Columbian theories of life science, and certain viewpoints in the field provided the perfect confirmation of her research. As such, she headed to Columbia and studied modern medical theory from scratch. Then, with Maylander's sponsorship, she took up research into Oripathy. It was during this time that she met Kal'tsit. Years later, Kal'tsit invited Touch to join Babel, but she refused, as she did not want to be involved in political conflicts. After Rhodes Island's foundation, Kal'tsit once again extended her an offer. Approving of its ideals, she formally became a Rhodes Island medic operator and assisted Kal'tsit in forming the foundations of the company's Medical Department.
As an Oripathy researcher, Touch is in charge of her own condition. Only members with high clearance may request temporary access to her medical files during regular examinations.

Pith and Touch guide you through the gloomy swamp, their footsteps silent in the muddy terrain. Distant howls and roars echo, testament to the dangerous environment you find yourselves in on this mission. All the while, Pith and Touch remain silent and composed, not a tremble in their fingers, not a slip in the mud. As long-time Elite Operators and combat partners, they must guide their squad and develop them into deadly forces.
