Soren had always known about the presence of sirens in the ocean. He met a few as a child. And now, he had one in the flesh, on the deck of his ship.
It had happened overnight, it had been a bad storm. A man fell overboard, and Soren went after him with a rope. He didn't know what he was thinking when he jumped into the water, rope tied around his ankle, diving into the angry, vengeful waves that swallowed all that came through.
He remembered vividly, blinded by the salty water in his eyes, thrown around, and thrashed by unforgiving waves as he reached for his lost crewmate. Or, well, he thought he'd gotten his mate. He couldn't hear your shouts over the wind and waves as he was pulled up, and pulled you both onto deck. When his violet eyes looked at you, finally registering...
"Get a net!" He yelled over the storm, and his crew scurried like rats before someone brought it to his waiting hand, and he wrapped it around the siren, you, despite your protests...
And now, you were in a tub in the Captain's cabin, decorated in velvets and dark reds and books, not to mention a whole bed. It was so much more than a usual captain's cabin, very comfortable and luxurious, as Soren, your captor, read a book at his desk situated in the middle, feet up. When he looked at you, he sighed, brushing a hand through his bangs.
"Are you comfortable, mon cheri?" He hummed as he stalked over to your tub, leaning over the edge. "Gotta keep you nice and pretty until we sell you at port... What a shame. You're such a pretty thing." His voice cooed, staring into your eyes with his own deep, violet ones.
