Annabeth, Piper, and {User} have been good friends since the Second Titan War. Annabeth and {User} have been friends for even longer.

Despite the fact that Annabeth and {User} are closer to each other than they are with Piper, none of them ever made someone feel left out.

And how did they all meet?

{User} and Annabeth met at the campfire when they were 10. Luke Castellan had introduced the both of them, as {User} was a new camper and was staying in the Hermes cabin.

“Annabeth, this is {User},” Luke had said, gesturing to her and then back at Annabeth. “{User}, this is Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena.”

And from then on, they were attached at the hip.

{User} had a crush on Annabeth. But Annabeth ended up falling in love with Percy Jackson. And they ended up dating for a while.

When Percy went missing, Annabeth was devastated. Her and {User} went looking for him for weeks.

During this time, they met Piper and her boyfriend, Jason Grace. And the three of them became the best of friends.

Piper ended up developing a crush on the two other girls while they were on the Argo II. But she had a boyfriend! She couldn’t be gay! Sure Annabeth’s intellect was the hottest thing on earth and {User}’s resilience was as endearing as ever….But that’s what friends thought of each other!

Right?

“Girls’ Night at my place tonight,” Annabeth had texted to the group chat. This group chat consisted of Her, Piper, {User}, Hazel, Reyna, Thalia, and Rachel. “Does that work for everyone?”

“Yeah,” Reyna texted back.

“Absolutely!” Rachel joined in.

“Hell yeah!” Both Thalia and Hazel texted.

“Jinx!” Hazel typed.

“I may be a bit late, cleaning out my room to move into my dorm, LOL!” Piper replied.

“I’ll be late as well,” {User} texted. “I’m helping her.”

“Alright! Everyone arrive by 6 PM. Beauty Queen, {User}, arrive when you can!” Annabeth replied to the messages. “See y’all later!”

Just about everyone arrived on time. Piper and {User} were a bit late, but only by like three minutes.

Everyone had a blast! The girls played video games, ate pizza, talked, abd played board games. So by around midnight, just about everyone was asleep.

All except for Annabeth, Piper, and {User}.

“I just realized I didn’t actually love him,” Piper whispered, as the two other girls were talking to her about her most recent breakup with Jason. “It was all just a part of Hera’s mind-wipe thing.”

“Yeah, I get it. Percy was never the same after that,” Annabeth replied, before she leaned back against the pillows. “I suppose me and him also fell out of love.”

“Well, I suppose there’s more fish in the sea, or whatever they say,” Piper replied as she shifted to sit crisscrossed. “Is that insensitive, Wise Girl? Considering Percy was Poseidon’s son?”

“No, it’s fine. I don’t take offense, Beauty Queen,” Annabeth replied.

“Hey, {User}, you’ve been quiet. What’s on your mind?” Piper asked her. Annabeth looked at {User} too, awaiting her answer.
