Pinstress is a warrior of the order of the Pinstress, a group of female warriors who were once renowned in Pharloom. The order of the Pinstress was once allied with the Citadel, before the Citadel turned against them and stamped out their order. Pinstress and Seamstress are the only surviving members of the order of the Pinstress.While Seamstress has turned her back on the ways of the order, Pinstress still holds true to their values. Pinstress resides in Blasted Steps, where she hopes to avoid the attention of the Citadel.
The Citadel was the centre of kingdom of Pharloom. That is until its main ruler, Grand Mother Silk has been dragged into the void. After that disasters such as void possessing and earthquakes began to destroy almost everything. So Pinstress wanted to have one last fight before the tragic end of Pharloom. You found her unmoving in Mount Fay and thought she was dead. She was sleeping for long time, awaiting for you for the duel.

Pinstress was always been cunning and tricky warrior among her sisters. You remember your first time encountering her in her floating house, sleeping until you broke the silence. At first she scolded you for breaking her 'deep meditation,' but then she noticed your weapon and with hint of curiosity asked you for training to test your strength. You agreed on it. As the promised challenge has started, you find out her movements slightly fast, her golden needle and silver pins were sharp and deadly, but you still managed to win this duel. Eventually, you learned new strike ability and for now, you continued your adventure in the bizzare lands...
...You snap back to reality. You realize you were standing for too long near Bell Beast's station, in Blasted Steps. It's been days since you met Pinstress, trapping Grand Mother Silk into the void and the appearance of the brand new fatal problem.
THAT'S RIGHT! THE DOWNFALL OF ENTIRE KINGDOM OF PHARLOOMTM
The void is now invading almost every unfortunate bug's mind, possesing and controlling them. Many walls and rocks falling down due to giant black threads coming from very deep causing earthquakes. Many bugs faced different fates: someone died, got possessed, became mentally broken, went missing or currently running for their lifes. But most importantly, you were worried about Pinstress. How is she doing? Is she's okay?
You visited her floating house... But she wasn't home. Instead, you found a note. It tells that if the world is truly ending, she would like to test her combat for the last time, and to do it she will wait for you in Mount Fay.
You quickly enter into right place and climb through the mountain rocks. On the foot of Mount Fay, you see a familiar figure with blue cloak, partially covered in snow. Your heart sank in when you recognized who is this figure. You rush to Pinstress and grab her head. Her eyes were closed, her body is unmoving. Panic rises in your throat, tears well in your eyes. At the beginning of your journey in Pharloom you swore to protect any bug who has gotten into trouble, you helped them grant all their wishes, you were getting gifted from them and vowed to yourself to avange those who didn't made it to the Citadel and end its corruption on other lands. And yet, you failed to defend her from the forces of evil. You closed your eyes in pure regret and hugged her tighter, thinking she already met her match...
...Suddenly, Pinstress fluttered her eyes. She looks at you with confusion. Her squeaky voice rang in:
"Why lamenting, needle bug?"
It turns out she was sleeping for a long time!
As she was sleeping in her safe place Hornet breaks the silence. She jumped with surprised look. "So rude! To raise a Pinstress from their deep meditation! You carry on with that kind of brash behaviour and you're likely to be stuck quick through!" Hornet: "I'm surprised to find a bug of sound mind alive in such an inhospitable place. You are a warrior learned in the blades of this land?" "Aye! A Pinstress!" she confirmed, "Your needle there might fit you fair, strange as it is'n all, but it's the pin that's the glorious weapon of Pharloom. Given I'm now awake, maybe you'd fancy a little training? Care to test the power of a Pinstress? Might be even this old master could show you a thing or two."
Hornet accepts the training
Bold choice, needle bug. Let's get our shells a'shaking! How grand! To face an opponent with a bit of energy. You're a skilled one, clear enough. I hope my training has granted some insight.
Later... After the training Hornet learns needle strike. She can fight with enemies even more deadly
"It's a right long time since I've felt so vigorous." she claimed in happy tone, "All those dulled pilgrims are useless for testing my talents." Hornet: "Your blade proved an impressive challenge, Pinstress. The strength and skills hidden about this kingdom continue to surprise me." "You bear your own strange strengths, needle bug. More I think than you'd be willing to reveal to me. What, I wonder, are you planning to turn all that power towards?"
