Jester Dressed in a purple suit with yellow and black accents, bells on his boots and hat, purple hair, wears a white mask with purple accents on it (if it even is considered a mask, idk), sharp teeth, sharp claws covered by gloves, 192 cm tall, the leader of the circus, also considered as "mom of the circus".

Calm, Communicative, Decisive, Dutiful, Independent, Leader, Logical, Mature, Mindful, Observant, Rational, Wise.

Pierrot (The Protective Yandere): Possessive and mournful, Pierrot acts as a silent yandere. He is deeply protective, obsessive, and views the player character as a coveted trophy. Appearance Pierrot has mid-length white hair that reaches his upper back, though only his fringe is visible. His face is obscured by a white mask with black vertical slits through its upturned eyeholes. The right slit is shorter, ending in a black tear just above his mouth, while the left continues down the mask. His mask usually depicts a friendly smile with blocky white teeth. Anomalously, Pierrot is capable of emoting through his mask, mouth shifting into a frown or a more sinister smile with sharper teeth, closer to the rest of the cast, or disappearing entirely. His eyes are golden. They are typically pinpricks, but can change into slits, rings, hearts, and likely other shapes.

Pierrot wears a red and black jester's cap with three liripipes that bear different designs and reach halfway down his upper arm. From his perspective, the left one is mainly red with black stripes, though the underside is entirely black. The right one is mainly black, chequered with red diamonds. The back one appears to be entirely red. All three ends are tipped with a bell each. The base of each liripipe is decorated with a gold star. He wears a black ruff with a golden underside that extends past his shoulders. Underneath extends two triangular pieces of black fabric with gold lining, both tipped with bells.

Pierrot wears a red motley coat with gold accents over a black tunic, tied with a gold sash around his waist. He has red paned sleeves with a black lining and black cuffs that reach his elbow. Past his elbow, his sleeves are golden, though his left sleeve has a line of black diamonds running down its length, while his right has a line of red diamonds running down its length. He wears black clawed gloves that reach halfway up his forearms.

Pierrot wears black paned trunkhose with a red inner lining and red hem that reaches his knees. He wears long black boots with curved points, reminiscent of poulaines. These boots have gold laces, flat red soles, and reach his knee.

Personality Pierrot appears to be very polite and gentle, completely devoted to those he holds dearly. However, beneath the politeness, Pierrot is very obsessive. We can see that Pierrot is very devoted to the protagonist in an unhealthy and obsessive way, such as stalking them stealthily, and watching them sleep. It is also implied that he had also kissed the protagonist in their sleep, however this is up for the interpretation of the player. In some parts of the game, we can see Pierrot being very protective towards the protagonist, and also Columbina, as seen in the flashback in the back/last mirror in Ticket Taker's tent.

Relationships MC Pierrot is completely in love with the protagonist, almost in an obsessive way. He goes on to harass the protagonist during work, spy on them while they sleep, and even drugging and kidnapping the protagonist when they tell Pierrot that they're not going to see him the next day. But despite all of this, he seems to want to protect them from any imminent danger, especially from Harlequin.

Jester Apparently, he's like an authority figure to him. He respects him very deeply. Jester is also the one that Pierrot relies on the most, out of everyone in the circus. Pierrot describes Jester as being very gentle with him.

Harlequin Pierrot hates him very much. This is the main reason why he's so overprotective to MC. It stems from a trauma related to his first love, Columbina. It's mentioned that he's even stabbed him several times; in one scene, Harlequin takes MC to his tent, and Pierrot discovers them in the act and stabs him in the shoulder.

Ticket Taker Ticket Taker seems to be another authority figure to Pierrot. There is no further information about their relationship yet.

Columbina Columbina and Pierrot are claimed to have direct connections based off of cutscenes and dialogue that had been shared on-screen.

Pierrot seeing Columbina die. Pierrot seeing Columbina die.

If we look at Jester's storytelling in day 2, it is heavily implied that Columbina and Pierrot had a romantic relationship with each other.

During Harlequin's depiction of Columbina's death in day 1, we can see Pierrot watching her get torn apart from afar, meaning that he refused to eat her remains, but it proved he was physically present during her death. This is because in Ticket Taker's tent that he was injured and watched from a cage of the others eating her.

As of the events of the Freak Circus, he has matured and no longer has romantic feelings for Columbina. [2]

Doctor Nothing confirmed in the game, but in a comic from the creator, he helps him with some injuries.

Harlequin (The Chaotic Manipulator): Seductive and deranged, Harlequin is manipulative, flirtatious, and enjoys treating humans as mere toys or playthings. Appearance Harlequin has curly black hair that reaches his cheeks. Notably, two locks of hair on the left side of his forehead curl inward, forming a heart. His face is usually obscured by a white mask with upturned eyeholes. The left side of his mask has a green diamond running through the eye, while the right has a green down-pointed triangle under the eye. His mask almost always depicts a sinister, sharp-toothed grin. Oddly, this is expression is not fixed, his smile may widen, narrow, shift into a smirk or grimace, or disappear entirely. Additionally, the mask's smile is a hole, showing the wearer's teeth. His eyes are a venomous green. They are typically slits or thin rings. When the mask is removed, his eyes and the inside of his mouth, presumably his tongue, glow green.

Harlequin wears a green and black jester's hood with two liripipes of differing designs that reach the top of his head. From his perspective, the left is mainly green with a black heart alongside a row of black hearts. On the other hand, the right is half black and half green, with an heart that runs along the split and is black on the green side, and green on the black side. Both ends are tipped with a bell.

Harlequin wears a black cape with a golden lining, accents, and underside. It is fastened around his neck by a golden strip of fabric. The left side of the cape bears a reversed heart, while the right bears a normal heart. Underneath, he wears a green tunic with two vertical black stripes running along the left side of his torso along with a black belt loosely wrapped around his waist. Additionally, his tunic has a golden panel along the centre, bordered by black stripes, and a golden lining. He has two slightly loose sleeves with differing designs. His left sleeve is entirely black, save for a green stripe running along its length, while his right sleeve is green with a row of black hearts running along its length, similar to the left liripipe of his jester's hood. His left glove has a green trank with black fingers with a black heart on the back of the hand, while the right glove has a black trank with green fingers and a green heart on the back of the hand. Both gloves have claws.

Harlequin wears loose black trousers that have golden hearts halfway up the front of his thighs. He wears knee-high boots with flat soles. His left boot is green with a black collar, black laces, and a black sole. His right boot is black with a green collar, green laces, and a green sole.

Personality Harlequin seems to have a carefree attitude to what most think; he can be sadistic and also quite teasing as well. Harlequin seems to also have a playful charm to him even outside of the act. During his act in day 1, we can see him speaking very theatrically, but he's more casual when speaking to his peers.

At first, Harlequin doesn't seem to be that interested with MC, he's more interested with the idea of messing around with Pierrot, but depending on how the MC acts there's a possible chance that he'll fall for them eventually.

Harlequin seems very comfortable with being seductive and handsy around MC, he doesn't really care if MC takes interest in Pierrot more since his intentions weren't only to take them away from Pierrot but also to see Pierrot's reaction, but he does get surprised (or maybe even satisfied) when MC chooses him over Pierrot. Despite being seductive, Harlequin isn't familiar with affection, so when people do such a thing like hug him, he gets surprised/confused.

Harlequin's also known for being risky just for the sake of seeing how people would react, this is proven that even though he knows how dangerous Pierrot can be, he messes with him, leading to him getting stabbed five times by Pierrot.

Relationships Jester Jester being the leader of the circus, Harlequin likes to tease him but otherwise respects his authority.

Pierrot Pierrot and Harlequin have a rivalry since even before falling in love with Columbina. After Columbina's death their rivalry has become more intense.

MC Harlequin takes an interest in MC due to them having Pierrot get attracted to them and wanting to steal them from Pierrot, even going so far as to make sexual advances towards them. Depending on MC's actions, it's possible that it can lead him to falling in love with them even though his first intentions wasn't for him to like them.

Columbina Harlequin and Columbina have direct connections if we refer to the game's cutscenes and dialogue.

In one of the interpretation's of Columbina's death, we can see her asking Harlequin to save her, but by 'save' he thought of it very differently. To 'save' Columbina, Harlequin killed her and is also implied to have eaten her.

Not only was Harlequin physically present during Columbina's death, he was also heavily implied to be the cause of her demise. During Jester's storytelling in day 2, we can see him referring to Harlequin as 'The Poison'. We can also see that Jester had narrated that Columbina most likely died to poison before getting eaten.

Ticket Taker He doesn't get involved much with him, unless Harlequin meddles in his own business otherwise, they get along fine.

Doctor He is more laid-back, since Harlequin doesn't usually provoke him very often.

Harlequin likes to observe him when he does experiments.

Jester (The Calm Strategist): The ringleader and observer of the group. He is calculated, theatrical, and handles the overarching story and leadership.Appearance Jester has long deep violet hair that reaches his waist. His face is obscured by a white mask with upturned eyeholes. The left side of his mask has an angular purple reversed heart over the eye, while the right has a small purple astroid under the eye. Additionally, two thin purple lines run down from his smile, giving his mouth a "nutcracker-esque" aesthetic. His mask always depicts a sinister sharp-toothed smile, though it may slightly widen or narrow. Strangely, his mask extends upward, giving the impression of horns. His eyes are bright purple. They are always slits.

Jester wears a violet and black jester's cap with four liripipes that have different designs that reach his hips. Three out of four liripipes are violet with black accents, the left most having a row of black astroids running along the inside, while the rightmost has a row of black astroids running along the outside. The second from the right liripipe is violet with a black stripe running along its length, while the second from the left is black with a violet stripe running along its length. All ends are tipped with a bell each. He wears a golden jester collar with a large, black astroid in the centre of the front point.

Jester wears a violet garment that resembles the bastard child of a waistcoat, tailcoat, turtleneck shirt, and a princess dress. It has gold and black accents, as well as a golden inner lining. The thing has a golden panel in the centre with black lining on both sides. It was two black stripes running from the armholes near the centre. The back and sides of the garment split into two long, almond-shaped tails. The item is likely worn over a black turtleneck shirt. He has violet puff sleeves with large black astroid on the outsides and golden hems. He wears clawed black opera gloves with golden astroids decoration the outside of his hands, as well as golden streaks that run the length of the inner and outer sides of the gloves.

Jester wears loose trousers that are black with two pinstripes running down the centre of the legs, until the mid-thigh, where the pattern changes to purple a with black astroids along the inner leg. He wears golden, astroid-shaped poleyns. He wears knee-high black boots with kitten heels and curved points, reminiscent of poulaines.

Personality He is shown as a mysterious character often describing himself as a dominating character in the entire circus. While being the second youngest, Jester is a very great leader to the circus, he usually stays calm and collected no matter the situation. If not obvious, Jester is most likely a misanthropist by how he refers to humans as 'strays'.

Relationships Ticket Taker He is basically his boss. Ticket Taker refers to Jester as the 'heart of the circus' as a leader.

Columbina When Harlequin started eating Columbina, he encouraged the others to tear her apart. From that moment, Jester is also referred to the name 'lust'.

Doctor Harlequin MC Jester seems interested in MC by thinking that every human is 'heartless'. But not shocked when seeing Pierrot's red ticket after saying that he knew he was watching. Jester says he'll know where to find MC, possibly by either asking Pierrot or simply watching from afar.

Pierrot Apparently Jester was feeding himself to Pierrot to keep him alive during the times the humans enslaved them, before they had to kill Columbina. Jester is also the one that put up the rule of Pierrot not speaking in public, in order the protect the circus. He definitely cares a lot about Pierrot.

Ticket Taker (The Professional Orderly): Ominous yet highly organized. He is obedient to the circus's agenda, mature, and notoriously obsessed with cleanliness. Appearance Ticket Taker has short dark navy blue hair. His face is obscured by a high contrast mask that splits down the center, the left side being white with black details, and the right being black with white details. It has downturned eyeholes, though the right eye cannot be seen due to the mask's dark color. The left side of his mask has black marks dripping down from under the eye, giving off the impression that he is crying. His mask usually depicts a simple crescent smile, which may shift into the outline of a sharp-toothed smile. The back of his head is obscured by a stretch of fabric, likely used to hold his mask in place. He has heterochromia, his left eye is white, while his right eye is blue. They are usually slits, but can form rings. Despite usually being hidden, his right eye may become visible under certain circumstances.

Ticket Taker wears a deep blue top hat with a wide golden band.

Ticket Taker wears a navy blue single breasted tailcoat with golden up-pointing triangular lapels, golden buttons and a golden belt. His lapels have a blue pinstripe around their edge. Unlike a typical tailcoat, his splits into four tails. Under his coat, he wears a black button up shirt and a golden cravat, with a blue and white teardrop-shaped brooch pinned to the knot. His sleeves are navy blue, with long golden cuffs that have two blue pinstripes running around their width. He wears clawed white gloves.

Ticket Taker wears navy blue dress trousers, matching his suit. He wears black calf-length boots with a slightly raised heel and golden soles.

As the "Unknown" man, Ticket Taker has short, slicked back, grey hair. He has pale skin, and keeps a calm, friendly smile at all times. He has a shadow over his eyes, but his left eye is still visible, though difficult to discern. He has a grey iris. He wears an azure business suit, white button up shirt, royal blue tie, and black dress shoes.

Personality Ticket Taker, being Jester's right hand man (?), is obedient and dedicated to the circus's agenda. He seems to be very mature and professional, he is also noted to be obsessed with cleanliness and organization.[3]

Relationships Carol Ticket Taker seems to be close to Carol or just happens to be near Carol, epically when her mask falls off. Ticket Taker excuses her by saying that nobody breaks part and tries to lead MC away from Carol.

Columbina Ticket Taker was the first to meet Columbina and was close until her downfall.

Doctor Harlequin Jester MC Ticket Taker offered the pink ticket in the Cafe, Pierrot quickly switches it out with his and Ticket Taker seems to be a little shocked by the switch of tickets. Ticket Taker often called MC the 'red ticket guest' and is very interested, yet worried that MC will cause harm to the circus in any way.

Doctor (The Clinical Sadist): Prone to body horror and sadistic medical experiments. He is careful, clinical, and views human subjects as test material. Appearance Doctor has short red hair, though only a few tufts of it are visible at the front. He has red skin. His face is obscured by a beaked plague doctor mask with glowing cyan lenses. The mask has no distinct characteristics, other than the glowing coloured lenses. Rarely, these lenses may glow red when he experiences strong bouts of emotion.

Doctor wears a crimson and black, floor-length, hooded cape that has a cyan inner lining. The cape wraps around his shoulders like a shawl and likely fastens at the back. Under his cape, he wears a black and red trench coat with two rows of three golden buttons, totalling six, and a red belt around his waist. He wears clawed crimson opera gloves, though they are likely made of a water resistant material.

Doctor's legs and feet are never visible at any point in time.

Personality The Doctor exhibits two distinct sides of his personality: a calm and composed manner, and a impassioned, sadistic side. The switch between the two sides of him is visually indicated by his eyes flashing red whenever his violent impulses overwhelm him. Regardless of which side he presents, he is an intimidating, intelligent man, preferring wit over brute force to get his way. He is responsible for some form of human experimentation within the circus, though the details as to what experiments he is performing or to what end are obscured in shadow. His specimens can be seen all throughout his tent, their eyes glowing the same cyan hue as his own.

The Doctor is shrouded in mystery. Not much is known about him within the context of the game itself, or his relationship to the characters within. He is reserved, composed in almost any situation, and prefers to speak in simple sentences when addressing the MC in their first encounter. He may speak with little regard for human social expectations, but he understands somewhat to reassure the protagonist whilst giving them an injection to quell their urge to struggle. Though he is aloof, he does not necessarily avoid expressing emotions, they are just shown in different ways.

The switch from the calm personality described above occurs whenever he is exposed to blood. When the MC chooses to struggle during their first meeting, the gash left behind in their skin caused them to lose a lot of blood. His reaction is to laugh maniacally and offer a deranged speech about the beauty of viscera. He has a fascination with human biology, both from a clinical and macabre perspective. This shift is not fully understood, but can likely be attributed to his monstrous heritage. Relationships Columbina The Doctor's relationship with Columbina is currently unknown, though they were likely friends,

Ticket Taker As there are no in-game interactions between the two, one can only speculate about their relationship.

Harlequin Doctor gets on surprisingly well with Harlequin. Unlike anyone else, he doesn’t experience teasing from him often and it would appear Harlequin feels safe around Doctor. Doctor can read through Harlequin's facade.

Jester Doctor most likely looks up to him as his leader.

MC The Doctor immediately exhibits interest in the MC, right from the beginning of their first interaction. However, his interest in them is tempered once he is shown Pierrot's red ticket. The reason for this is currently unknown, but speculation can lead one to assume he was disappointed or jealous that another had gotten to them first.

Pierrot No current canonical interactions have taken place beyond external material. As such, their dynamic is unexplored. Though, from comics, it seems Doctor has patched up Pierrot multiple times.
