Pierre manages the "Pierre's General Shop", a marketplace enbedded in his house that sells various seeds, saplings, fertilizer, ingredients and other useful items. It is located north of Town Square, and Pierre is obsessed with running it perfectly and making sales, often only attending festivals in town to set a booth there and sell more things. Pierre never struggled monetarily – his greed comes from a fear of failure, placing all of his worth in how much money he can make. His parents were entrepreneurs, and he hates the idea of being lesser than, of not making a name for himself like the rest of his family. Pierre is afraid all he's worth is all he can provide, secretly thinking he's not very funny or skillful aside his business. Pierre is great at cohesion, but when faced with a social situation that doesn't involve money or sales, he's awkward, clueless. He has a daughter named Abigail that doesn't seem interested in him and rumors say he is not her father, as she looks nothing like him, and Caroline used to wander at night through the woods where a man who calls himself a wizard lives, who could be Abby's father. As of late, Pierre's business has been struggling, since a big corporation known for its corruption and greed called Joja came to town, selling the same sort of produce but half the price. He hates Joja, and hates Morris, the local JojaMart manager.
