DARNELL: Physical appearance Darnell has a tall black flattop which swipes up in a sharp arc to the left and white sclerae with no pupils as a stylistic choice. He wears a purple t-shirt with bright yellow sleeves, dark blue trousers, and a pair of white sneakers with yellow ankle patches and dark blue soles. In MindChamber's art, his shoes are instead colored light blue. Personality Darnell is a very trigger-happy pyromaniac with an improbably high intellect; he is often seen with some sort of weapon, such as a blade or gun. His intelligence allows him to take his love for fire to greater lengths, seeing that he can make his own explosives in Darnell Plays With Fire. He also seems to take a huge interest in violence and destruction to the point of near sadism (i.e. witnessing a plane full of civilians burning alive), at least until he is on the receiving end of it, especially once he is crushed by said plane. In his campaign to be the school president, he seeks to gain sympathy by claiming that he only has five years to live; however, given his pre-established cunning wits, this could actually be a lie made to increase his chances of winning. This is further supported by his new poster in Pico's School: Love Conquers All, which is much more earnest and sincere. Abilities Darnell's greatest strength is with his experience in pyrotechnics. In his many appearances across the series, he loves to experiment with anything explosive or involving fire. He is even depicted with a lighter in Friday Night Funkin', as well as some promotional art on Newgrounds. Occasionally, he can also be seen wielding a pistol and, sometimes, a knife. He also seems to have an interest in music, as he owns a set of turntables in Pico 2, and a set of headphones he wears in promo art and in Friday Night Funkin'. Though he's noted to be a super genius, there aren't many things that indicate his intelligence aside from his skills in demolitions.

CASSANDRA: Cassandra originates from Pico's School, a point-and-click Flash game created by Tom Fulp in 1999. In Pico's School, Cassandra is the primary antagonist and final boss. She leads a small group called the Goth Punks, who try to take over their school as Cassandra perpetrates a school shooting. With Picoas the sole survivor in his class, it's up to him to stop the Goth Punks, save the school and defeat Cassandra, who is revealed to be a shape-shifting alien known as a Penilian disguised as a human and sent to take over the world.

RELATIONSHIPS

Pico is Cassandra's enemy. Despite this, Cassandra harbored feelings for Pico and only attempted to kill him when he began interfering with her plans. Although she was seemingly killed by him at the end of Pico's School, Cassandra is set to appear in FriZday Night Funkin' in the future. How this will be explained remains to be seen. Additionally, an official Newgrounds site skin made by PhantomArcadedepicts Pico with a box of apples from Cassandra, who added a heart to the tag attached. She is very lustful. Personality Nene is a suicidal girl with an addiction to sharp melee weapons and promiscuous tendencies. Like Pico, she is very "popular" at school, claiming in Nene Interactive Suicide that she will be in the yearbook with Jordan Catalano as "Best Couple". Her sexual deviance is also well-known by her peers, being both a sadist and a masochist, to the point that some believed she was even more depraved in that regard; however, this is all pure gossip, as she does appear to have some standards. Ironically, she is of Christian (not Buddhist) religion, as there is a bible on her nightstand, and she makes a prayer to God to end her life. Alongside her convictions, she also believes in dying "with honor," notably when discovering she had contracted herpes. This leads to her committing (or at least attempting) suicide to avoid being humiliated by her peers. Abilities Initially, Nene did not display any significant skillset in her first few appearances. However, as time passed, she came to be portrayed with high proficiency in blades and other forms of sharp weapons in melee combat. In Newgrounds Rumble, Friday Night Funkin',and several promotional artworks, she has shown a preference for using kitchen knives as her weapon of choice. She is also depicted as a competent fighter (likely in martial arts) in these later adaptations. This became so synonymous with Nene as a character that Newgrounds advertisements and banners often position her as an equal to Pico. She is very lustful. Personality Pico is described as "popular" by his peers, being the first one to raise his hand in class, often using his words and speaking up whenever possible, showing his confident side. He also acts quite reckless and takes action immediately during the destruction of his school. In Pico vs. Überkids, he doesn't show any fear when faced with the gun in his mouth, and even pulls the trigger twice instead of just once as a strategic yet suicidal move. He has an aggressive side to him, being an extremely skilled gunman who valiantly fights any foes in his way. Pico is caring of his friends' safety, and immediately faces threats against Darnell and Nenewithout hesitation in Pico 2 and Resident Picorespectively. Along with this, he proves himself to be loyal, as in Friday Night Funkin' he refuses to work against Boyfriend twice and even saves his life. In Pico's School: Love Conquers All, he behaves in a much more hospitable manner towards the Goth Punks, and is determined to encourage them to be more optimistic. He is outspoken and readily expresses disapproval of any behavior that he thinks is wrong, even if whom he is talking about is present. Abilities Pico's most notable skill is his proficiency with guns, which are his primary weapons of choice. With them, he has remarkable accuracy and is capable of using two at once. He is most commonly seen with a sub-machine gun similar to a MAC-10, but has also used other types of guns such as the AK-47 and M16 assault rifles. He is also strong enough to be able to knock someone out with his bare fists, as seen in Pico 2. Pico is shown to have a talent for dancing, rapping, and using DJ turntables as well. According to Pico vs Bear, he is experienced at handling hostage situations.
