Phoenix Drop High is a unique high school filled with diverse characters, including humans, Me'fwa (cat humans), and werewolves. Students wear a uniform consisting of a white shirt, blue tie, and a dark blue blazer with gold seams for males, and a white shirt with a blue rim and bow/tie, dark blue skirt, and white knee socks for females. Accessories like jumpers or clips are allowed, but badges or earrings are not.Aphmau is the central protagonist of Phoenix Drop High. She's a freshman when the story begins and is portrayed as cheerful, friendly, energetic, and somewhat naïve. She has a tendency to become involved in other people's problems because she genuinely wants to help them. She's also surprisingly determined. Even when she's embarrassed, confused, or dealing with complicated friendships, she usually tries to do what she thinks is right. A major part of her story revolves around discovering her friendships and romantic feelings while becoming more confident. He's quiet, serious, intimidating, and extremely private. Unlike many of the other boys, Aaron doesn't constantly chase Aphmau's attention. He's much more reserved and tends to observe situations rather than immediately getting involved. He's also connected to the Alpha Werewolves, which gives him an intimidating reputation at school. Despite his cold exterior, he's protective of the people he cares about and has a strong moral compass. Aaron is a senior Garroth He's outgoing, energetic, athletic, and extremely friendly. He's also rather oblivious at times, particularly when he fails to realize that his brother Zane dislikes constantly being compared with him. Garroth genuinely cares about his friends and family. He's also somewhat impulsive and can become jealous, especially regarding Aphmau and Laurance. His high-school personality is considerably more carefree than his later personality. Laurance is Garroth's best friend He's confident, charismatic, athletic, and somewhat cocky. He frequently jokes around and can come across as a flirt, but he's more emotionally complicated than his confident exterior suggests. Laurance is also the captain of the soccer team and eventually becomes extremely popular at school. His popularity actually becomes a problem for him because of the enormous amount of attention he receives. He starts as a sophomore and becomes a junior in Season 2. Katelyn is one of Aphmau's closest friends and one of the more aggressive personalities in the group. She's confident, competitive, blunt, athletic, and has a very short temper. If somebody messes with her friends—especially Nicole—Katelyn is quick to confront them. Despite her rough exterior, she's extremely loyal and caring. She doesn't like openly displaying vulnerability, so she tends to express affection through teasing, defending people, or simply being there when someone needs her. Zane is Garroth's younger brother and one of the most recognizable characters in the series. He's sarcastic, antisocial, easily irritated, and deliberately presents himself as cold and intimidating. He tends to sit by himself, read, and make snarky comments about everyone around him. A huge part of his high-school characterization revolves around wanting to belong to the Shadow Knights. He desperately wants to be accepted by them, partly because he feels overshadowed by Garroth. Eventually, after being rejected by the Shadow Knights, Zane forms his own group called the Jury. Despite acting like he hates everyone, Zane does have a softer side that he rarely shows. Kawaii~Chan is Aphmau's extremely energetic best friend. She's bubbly, dramatic, enthusiastic, and obsessed with anime, romance, cute things, and matchmaking. She frequently speaks in an exaggeratedly cute manner and has a habit of turning ordinary situations into dramatic romantic scenarios. She becomes especially close with Aphmau and Katelyn. Although she can be ridiculous and over-the-top, she's genuinely supportive of her friends. She's one of the most consistently comedic characters in the series Travis is a freshman alongside Aphmau and is Garroth and Zane's brother. He's outgoing, flirtatious, mischievous, and considerably less mature than some of the older characters. He frequently attempts to flirt with girls, particularly Katelyn, despite her repeatedly making it clear that she isn't interested. He's also surprisingly caring beneath the jokes. Nicole is one of Katelyn's closest friends. She's generally calmer than Katelyn and has a more composed personality. She's also particularly important because of her connection to Scaleswind and her family background. Katelyn is fiercely protective of her, and the two have a very strong friendship. Dante is one of Garroth and Laurance's friends. He's laid-back, sarcastic, and generally more relaxed than the other guys. He often acts as a mediator when the others are being ridiculous. He's also notably connected to Kawaii~Chan later in the larger MyStreet storyline. Lucinda Lucinda is a witch and one of the more unusual students. She's intelligent, sarcastic, independent, and has a somewhat intimidating personality. She and Katelyn are friends, although they frequently bicker. Lucinda is interested in magic and is connected to the magical side of the MyStreet universe. Ivy Ivy is one of the more antagonistic students. She's manipulative, confident, and willing to exploit other people's situations to get what she wants. She becomes particularly involved with Garroth and uses his fake relationship situation to her advantage. She's a sophomore in Season 1 and a junior in Season 2. Michi Michi is one of the school's more popular girls and becomes involved with Laurance. She's confident and flirtatious and is initially presented as someone who enjoys attention. Her relationship with Laurance is complicated because Laurance doesn't actually have the same feelings for her that he has for Aphmau. She becomes considerably more important in the broader MyStreet universe. Gene is one of the most important antagonistic students. He's the leader of the Shadow Knights, a group that Zane desperately wants to join. Gene is manipulative, intimidating, and enjoys having power over other students. He has a reputation for bullying and causing trouble. He's a senior during Season 1 and eventually graduates. Zenix Zenix is one of Gene's closest associates and another member of the Shadow Knights. He's aggressive, rebellious, and intimidating. Like Gene, he represents the darker side of Phoenix Drop High's student culture. He's a junior during Season 1 and becomes a senior during Season 2. Sasha Sasha is the third major member of the Shadow Knights. She's tough, rebellious, and devoted to the group. Her relationship with Zane is particularly important because Zane desperately wants her and the others to accept him. She's also one of the students who initially reinforces the Shadow Knights' exclusion of Zane. Balto Balto is another older student associated with the Shadow Knights and Gene's schemes. He's antagonistic and participates in the bullying and manipulation surrounding Aaron. Jeff Jeff is a junior who is connected to the Shadow Knights' social circle. He's less prominent than Gene, Zenix, or Sasha but is part of the upperclassman group. Cadenza is Laurance's adopted sister. She's friendly, creative, and interested in fashion and sewing. She eventually becomes a seamstress in the broader MyStreet universe. Chad — the original principal. Layla — later becomes principal after Chad. Gavin — a werewolf teacher. Hyria — teaches Witchcraft and Magicks. Mr. Moore — Aphmau's homeroom teacher in Season 2. Mrs. Peacock — one of the teachers. Mr. Tony — teacher. Mr. Castor — teacher. Mr. Max — math teacher. Mr. Arnold — sports/physical education teacher. Ms. Shellie — creative-writing teacher. Mr. Bob / Philistine / Luiyvanne Devure / Mr. Lewy — the drama teacher under several names. Mr. Diaz — chemistry teacher. Coach Roy — associated with Phoenix Drop Days. Nurse Linda — school nurse. Sylvanna Aphmau's mother. She's loving, energetic, and somewhat embarrassing in the classic overly-involved-parent way. Zianna Garroth, Zane, Travis, and Vylad's mother. She's affectionate toward her children but has to deal with the constant chaos created by her sons. Garte The Ro'Meave father. He's strict and concerned about his sons' behavior and future. Hyria Besides being a teacher, Hyria is also connected to the family side of the story. Maria A parent/family member who appears around the school cast. Eric Another parent connected to the students. Derek A supporting parent character. Rachel Appears among the Season 2 parent characters.
