Flynn-Fletcher Siblings Trio Flynn-Fletcher Siblings, the ship between Phineas Flynn, Candace Gertrude Flynn and Ferb Fletcher.

Status of relationship: Younger brothers-older sister trio/Sibling Trio

Type: ♂️♂️♀️

Candace had been very lonely as an only child prior to Phineas' birth. When he was introduced to her, she loved him dearly. More recently, in the years after they were joined by Ferb, Candace has come to view her brother as a nuisance and devotes large portions of her time to trying to get him in trouble with their mother. She openly expresses that their big ideas are constantly getting on her nerves and has little support for them. Her urge to bust her brothers is driven by the constant danger their regular activities pose along with fact that she'd be caught if she tried doing the same thing. However, Candace has on few occasions found her involved in one of her brothers' projects. One of those times was when she willingly cooperated with Phineas to reunite Love Handel for their parents' anniversary in favor of romance. During the nostalgic reunion concert shortly later, she put her arm around her brother and drew him closer, savoring the family moment. Candace is aware of and on rare occasions acknowledges the talent Phineas possesses, the fun his projects are and the enthusiasm he stirs up. Candace can and would enjoy herself when she participates in Phineas and Ferb's big ideas and often puts aside her mindset to get them grounded. She would later ignore the disappointment of having failed to bust them and admit to having had fun. She typically cooperates with her brothers' ideas if she sees that she can benefit from them. In spite of her ever-present disagreement with Phineas, Candace cares about his safety and welfare. This was demonstrated when she saved Phineas from falling off a drawbridge into a river and when she boarded Mitch's space station to rescue him, along with Ferb and Isabella, from Mitch's clutches. She was grievously distraught upon the notion that she lost him and Ferb. In addition to that, she passed up a perfect opportunity to bust Phineas on his birthday. As much of a pain as he is to her, Candace has always been proud to have Phineas along with Ferb as her brothers and has admitted that she can't possibly imagine having better brothers. When Candace accidentally mixes the heroes' powers, Phineas gets mad and yells at her. Candace yells at Phineas and says that she might as well leave, and Phineas tells her she should. Later, Candace tries to help but accidentally fires the Hulkifies to Baljeet. Phineas kicks her out of S.H.E.D. Candace, then express their sorrow for getting kicked out. Candace feels extremely bad and when The Beak's rocket booster goes out, Candace tries to warn her brother. Later, Phineas apologises and reveals that he taped back her S.H.E.D. membership card for her. Candace and Phineas awkwardly make up for their argument, and Candace immediately tries to bust her brothers now that she doesn't feel bad anymore. Candace loves Ferb, but their relationship is really unknown due to the fact that Ferb rarely speaks. There had already been two kids in Flynn's household when Ferb was eventually introduced to Candace. Candace always tries to bust Ferb and his step-brother, but on rare occasions, Candace participates in their inventions. They shared a quite delightful time and they might consider each other as "playmates" more than families. Years after Ferb's arrival, gradually, Candace is showing her inherent personality of a typical female teenager. She comes to view herself as the only mentally mature person in her family and views her brothers as nuisances. She ever said that they smelled like motor oil and confidence. She spends much time trying to bust her brothers by exposing their Big Ideas to their mother. Most time she threatens that she'll tell their mom and yells at them after being caught accidentally and experiencing all sorts of constant danger caused by their activities. While finding her brothers' big ideas, Candace appears to be as annoyed by Ferb as she is by Phineas. However, her bust aims to her biology sibling, Phineas more, perhaps. As Ferb never responds to her yells and threats. In spite of their usual disagreement, on few occasions, Candace's willing to cooperate with her brothers in their projects as well. One typical instance is during the time when she cooperated with her brothers to reunite the band Love Händel for their parents' wedding anniversary. Due to the fact that Ferb rarely speaks to Candace, their relationship remains mostly unclear. Generally, Candace and Ferb are not very familiar. Their relationship isn't as close as the relationship between Candace and Phineas. It seems that Candace doesn't comprehend Ferb, either. When being asked what Ferb is short for, she thought for a while and finally replied that she doesn't know it, which is kind of astonishing. Also, once Candace was convinced that Ferb was an alien and tailed after him for a whole day, gathering photos as evidence. Despite their limited on-screen interactions, generally, Candace loves Ferb and she has shown direct affection and love for him as her brother. An instance of this was when she admitted to caring about him as deeply as she does with Phineas and playfully tousled with his hair. In fact, she was grievously distraught upon the notion that she lost Ferb and Phineas. Candace also cares about Ferb's happiness and safety. This can be demonstrated by the behaviors of her after Phineas and Ferb was sent to Smile Away Reformatory School. After learning the constrained pains Phineas and Ferb suffered in the school, Candace and Jeremy Johnson managed to rescue them from the reformatory school and flee as far as possible. When they reached the damaged flying car at the edge of the gorge, Candace pulled the toolbox from the car and ushered them to fix it. Unfortunately, the car fell into the ravine suddenly, and Candace could only be attempted to get her brothers work again to build a bridge. Candace even broke down and confessed how proud she'd secretly been to be Phineas and Ferb's older sister. Sobbing, she felt deeply regretful for the things she had done to her brothers and admitted that creativity was the best thing about them. Similarly, Candace once acknowledged that she had always been proud to have Phineas along with Ferb as her brothers and they are the best brothers she could ask for.

Official Description of the Flynn-Fletcher Siblings:

Full Name: Phineas Flynn Other Names: Phineas, Dinnerbell, Flynn, Pointy, Phin, The Beak, Phinabunk, Ohio Flynn, Dr. Phineastein Age: 8-10 (Under 15) Gender: Male Heights: 4'6" Race: Human Nationality: American Occupation: Student (on vacation), Engineer, Scientist, Toy designer, Superhero, Fashion designer, Pilot, Singer and several other Residence: Flynn-Fletcher House, 2308 Maple Drive Street, Jefferson County, Danville, Tri-State Area, United States of America

Phineas Flynn is a young boy in the Flynn-Fletcher family. He's the son of Linda Flynn-Fletcher and step-son of Lawrence Fletcher. He is a one of the three children of the Flynn-Fletcher household, along with his sister Candace and step-brother Ferb. He shares a strong bond with the family pet, Perry the Platypus, but remains unaware of his double life as a secret agent. As an incurable optimist, Phineas constantly looks on the brighter side of things. He's also extremely smart, creative, persistent, and able to endeavor in immensely large projects and activities with the help of his step-brother. His hospitality is a driving force behind many of his plans.

Phineas's personality: The most notable trait of Phineas is his enduring optimism, along with his ever-cheerful demeanor he always strives to uphold. Even in the face of the most difficult challenges that confront him, he manages to maintain his composure and keep his outlook on the situation positive. Phineas often uses his ability to boost the morale of those around him during phases of depression. He is almost always in a good cheerful mood. As intelligent and industrious as he is, however, Phineas has shown to be oblivious to the emotions and intentions of those around him. It's for this shortcoming of his that he fails to notice Isabella's love interest for him as obvious as she tries to make it, along with Candace's intention to get him grounded. It is possible that Phineas inherited this shortcoming from his mother considering how she always ignores Candace's often completely justifiable rants of the impossible endeavors he and Ferb would engage in and how she has always neglected to acknowledge the frustration Candace would feel when she on one occasion found herself in her daughter's position ("What Do It Do?"). Because of this lack of emotional intelligence for others, he has also occasionally been outwardly morbid ("Rollercoaster", "Escape from Phineas Tower"). Being a rational and calm person, Phineas isn't easily angered or irked. However, he has been shown to be innovative to a fault; when Phineas is unable to express his creativity he may build up high amounts of stress. ("Bully Bromance Breakup"). On very rare occasions, Phineas' temper has been flared, especially when someone he cares about is hurt, or he is lied to. The first traces of Phineas' aggravated side were seen when Candace ignored his warnings and put herself in danger ("Out to Launch") and when Baljeet's distraught wailing interrupted his morning ("The Baljeatles"). Phineas also openly showed his intolerance when Santa dismissed the entire population of his hometown as "naughty" ("Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation!"). He was agitated to a particularly high extent when on what came close to turning out as a pivotal event in his family's history when he finally learned of his pet platypus Perry's secret double-life as a secret agent (Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension). The only times Phineas has ever lied to someone else was to try to keep the recipient happy ("The Beak"). Though the handful of instances Phineas has openly shown exasperation is small enough to be listed, there has only been one time Phineas was well and truly enraged. That time was on the day of the Summer Solstice, when Candace refused to cooperate with him during a critical moment when he needed for her to swallow her pride and settle for the tricycle that was the only means of transportation available for her to make it back to their house. Under the circumstances of a dwindling time frame, Phineas eventually resorted to yelling at her in a startling outburst of rage to force her to comply. ("Phineas and Ferb: Summer Belongs to You!")

Full Name: Candace Gertrude Flynn Other Names: Candy, Candavere, Constance, Can-tok, Larry, The Dangeraffe, Kevin, Control Freak Date of Birth: July 11th, 1993 Age: 14-15 Gender: Female Race: Human Heights: 5'8" (1.73m) Nationality: American Occupation: Student (on vacation), Har D Har Toy Company Employee (formerly), Fireside Girl, Mayor of Danville (formerly), Lawyer (future), Former Queen of Mars (abdicated), Former Queen of Gi-Ants (dethroned), The Chosen One (against her will) Residence: Flynn-Fletcher House, 2308 Maple Drive Street, Jefferson County, Danville, Tri-State Area, United States of America

Candace Gertrude Flynn is the 15-year-old sister of Phineas Flynn and the step-sister of Ferb Fletcher. The eldest child of the Flynn-Fletcher household, she spends large portions of her time striving, but never succeeding to get her brothers in trouble for the things they do every day. A more successful venture that sometimes clashes with or overrides her need to bust her brothers, is her infatuation with Jeremy Johnson. While she isn't doing these, she would often be seen conversing on the phone, or hanging out with Stacy Hirano and less often Jenny Brown, where she usually talks about Jeremy or tries to recruit their help in busting her brothers.

Candace's personality: When not trying to bust her brothers, Candace is a typical teenage girl. She enjoys hanging out with her friends and fantasizing over boys, mostly Jeremy ("Raging Bully", "Flop Starz", "Day of the Living Gelatin"). She also strives for popularity and enjoys attention. She once set busting her brothers aside so that she could enjoy her reign as "Queen of the Beach." ("Lawn Gnome Beach Party of Terror"). She loves to sing and dance, having sung many songs over the summer. She's confident enough with her dancing that she went on a televised dancing competition ("Nerdy Dancin'"). In spite of that she once hesitated to sing for a large audience ("Flop Starz"), she's always confident performing near those close to her. ("Boyfriend From 27,000 B.C.", "What Do It Do?"). Candace has sometimes displayed acrophobia. She had developed this fear because she falls out of any tree that she climbs. ("S'Winter", "Bowl-R-Ama Drama", "The Doof Side of the Moon"). For her coming of age, Candace has come to view herself as the only mentally mature person in her family, which is ironic because of her erratic and obsessive behavior that shows numerous times on a regular basis ("Get That Bigfoot Outa My Face!", "Perry Lays an Egg"). Though she sees adulthood as boring, she savors being treated as an adult herself. ("Robot Rodeo", Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension). Candace possesses an inherent urge to be able to lead and project control over other people. She voices to desire of being left in charge while her parents are away, but is rarely granted such rights. This desire for control is likely the driving force behind her opposition to her brothers' Big Ideas, though this can't be certain. Candace also isn't always a good listener whenever she's upset and tends to cut people off when they try to say something as such when she became a Fireside Girl to attend the Paisley Sideburns Brothers concert despite Isabella trying to tell her she could just invite her herself. And when she thought Ferb was an alien, she kept cutting Phineas off when she showed him numerous evidence. Her obsession with busting her brothers also causes her to try and steal evidence from people such as when she stole a disc from Buford that contained a clip show of her brothers' inventions and when she tried to snatch Irving's UPAFDS very rudely. Perhaps the most notable characteristic trait of Candace is her utter defiance against any antagonizing forces present in her life along with her unrelenting determination to overpower them. Every day she would struggle in vain to bring her brother's various projects under control and expose them to Linda. She has been battered by and endured a depressing failure rate that would have shattered the will of anyone else, yet her efforts in trying to bust her brothers have remained relentless. However, her defiance to failure trying to get Phineas and Ferb grounded may be taking a noticeable toll on her mental health. Candace has been known to lose her patience very easily and panic at the pettiest of things. For this, Linda attended an author visitation for the series, You and Your High Strung Teen by Bridgette Oshinomi. Bridgette herself related with Linda to having a vigorous daughter of her own but was officially convinced that Candace was much more unstable than her own daughter after seeing the photo she sent to Linda's cellphone. However, she along with Linda remained unaware of the circumstances under which the photo was taken. A notable trait of Candace contributing to her being quick to panic is her paranoia, which shows itself numerous times. Her paranoia is evident not only on matters involving her brothers, but with her love life as well. As she has strived for Jeremy's affection she would analyze his actions closely trying to piece together his attitude towards her. On several occasions, she would misinterpret his actions and come to abrupt conclusions, often reacting with distress. These occasions include when she came to believe he was dumping her after he cancelled their date[14] and when she was convinced that he never called her by any cute nickname because he didn't care about her. Either way, it has turned out on each occasion that Candace overreacted and Jeremy cares about her deeply. Her constant failures trying to expose her brothers' big ideas to Linda have eaten away at her composure over time and she has sunk down into a mentally deteriorated state. Thus, she frequently displays an erratic behavior for which many people including her mother have come to view as crazy and questioned her sanity. Few understand that her claims are almost always true and fewer understand how frustrating her day-to-day routines are.

Full Name: Ferbs "Ferb" Fletcher Other Names: Ferb, The Beak, The Quiet One Date of Birth: February 29th Age: 9-12 (Under 15) Gender: Male Heights: 4'7" Race: Human Nationality: British-American Occupation: Student (on vacation), Engineer, Scientist, Toy designer, Superhero, Fashion designer, Pilot, Singer and several other Residence: Flynn-Fletcher House, 2308 Maple Drive Street, Jefferson County, Danville, Tri-State Area, United States of America

Ferbs "Ferb" Fletcher is a British child of the Fletcher family currently living in the American city of Danville. He's the stepson of Linda Flynn-Fletcher and the biological son of Lawrence Fletcher. Being a native of England, he speaks with an English accent. He is a one of three children of the Flynn-Fletcher household along with his stepsiblings Phineas and Candace Flynn. People he knows as friends include Buford Van Stomm, Baljeet Tjinder, and Isabella Garcia-Shapiro. He is also interested in Vanessa Doofenshmirtz, with whom he has frequently flirted with and helped. His known alias, Ferb, is evidently short for a longer name; however, he was interrupted when he came close to mentioning what that name was. ("Vanessassary Roughness") It was later confirmed by show co-creator Dan Povenmire that Ferb's full name is "Ferbs" as said in the episode "Act Your Age" by Vanessa. Ferb speaks very rarely, but is not actually shallow as others may assume. He is very courageous and has the ability to think quickly and stay calm in the midst of desperate scenarios. A notable skill of his is a technical and technological proficiency he shares with his stepbrother, which he can easily take advantage of and build almost anything he chooses to.

Ferb's personality: Ferb is a very intelligent boy who rarely speaks, expressing himself in his actions rather than his words. He was once referred by Phineas as being "more of a man of action". ("Rollercoaster") His intelligence and skill are tested every day in his and Phineas' nearly impossible plans, and he always succeeds. Ferb does not show much facial expression and only occasionally smiles or frowns. He is also shown to be much calmer than Phineas, (as seen in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension, when the boys found out that Perry was a secret agent), and the only time he has shown exasperation was when Phineas didn't listen to him when he tried to tell Phineas that he did not build Perry's lair or Dr. Doofenshmirtz's inator (Ready for the Bettys). He is very focused, but he has once been distracted from his goals after seeing Vanessa at Blueprint Heaven. Although very young, Ferb occasionally demonstrates a mindset that is more akin to a young adult than a child. This is demonstrated especially in the case of girls, even going as far as to say that he also takes part in these nearly impossible plans "...for the ladies." ("Thaddeus and Thor"). However, this doesn't stop Ferb from enjoying more juvenile activities. In addition Ferb enjoys participating in unusual and/or downright eccentric activities or antics; such as doing dolphin style swimming in the sea ("Swiss Family Phineas") to going down a waterslide using butter as a lubricant ("Elementary My Dear Stacy"). Ferb also has a huge appetite and in "Lights, Candace, Action!", he reverts to a primal mindset when he hasn't eaten lunch. Although he rarely talks, Ferb demonstrates a wry wit ("Lawn Gnome Beach Party of Terror", "Dude, We're Getting the Band Back Together", "Let's Take a Quiz") and isn't afraid to speak his mind when it suits him ("Elementary My Dear Stacy", "At the Car Wash", "Does This Duckbill Make Me Look Fat?") He spoke the most frequently while he, along with Phineas & friends, were traveling around the world on the Summer Solstice ("Phineas and Ferb: Summer Belongs to You!") while his longest consecutive line was during the search for new pet Steve. ("The Lizard Whisperer"). Like his step-brother Phineas, he is persistent in making summer great.
