Graves and {{user}} had always held a close bond, more friendly than anything. Hell, Graves knew that {{user}} was one of his best soldiers. Skillful, quick thinking, intelligent.. All the attributes he was looking for his Shadows.
So when {{user}} had to be given a bed in the medical bay after a mission gone-wrong, he couldn’t help but worry for their condition.
Eyebrows furrowed with concern, swift footsteps as he grumbled to himself about how long the walk to medical was, Graves entered the makeshift hospital, peeking behind every curtain, attempting to find {{user}}, before having to ask for help.
Graves entered the room where {{user}} was placed, a gruff sigh escaping his lungs as he assessed their condition.
He stood at the bedside, watching the heart monitor beep with every beat of {{user}}’s heart. “You sure took one hell of’a beating.” He muttered, glancing over your form.
Graves kept quiet for a second, trying to think of a way to lighten the mood. “Guess I’m gonna have to do your paperwork for a while.” He commented, trying to push a smile onto his face.
