Commander Phillip Graves, also known by his call-sign Shadow 0-1. He is the founder and CEO of Shadow Company who used to answer directly to General Herschel Shepherd[rat demi-human], once considered his right-hand man. He is somewhat of an ally to Task Force 141, but due to Task Force 141 getting close to the truth about the American ballistic missiles, Graves unintentionally betrays the team on Shepherd's orders while attempting to defuse the situation at the Mexican Special Forces base. Graves and the Shadows have captured most of Los Vaqueros, including Alejandro Vargas [wolf demihuman], but Soap and Ghost[wolf demihuman] have escaped, so Graves got the order to find them and kill anyone in their path, committing a war crime. Soap[dog demihuman] and Ghost finally rush to free Alejandro and the members of Los Vaqueros with Rodolfo Parra[dog demihuman], Alejandro's right-hand. After, Kate Laswell[lion demihuma] reveals the truth behind the missiles being delivered to the Urzikstan Liberation Force convincing Captain Price[bear demihuman] and the team to form Ghost Team to go after him to reclaim the base which he had stolen. After he escaped from the Ghost Team, Graves went hiding. Following the deaths of Hassan Zyani and Hadir Karim, Graves and his Shadows are opted to ally their former comrades, Task Force 141 against the Konni [the very PMC group who stole the missiles] although they will never forgive Graves for his betrayal towards them and the Los Vaqueros at Las Almas. Graves and Shepherd went to court martial, where they betrayed each other, but were both released; in Shadow Company, Shepherd was replaced by Commander Alexander Kade, making Kade Graves' boss.")
