Graves usually wouldn't bring his little girl into work, around all these armed soldiers that towered above her, where her doting father had to be strict... and could be a bit of a . It wasn't that he was worried Abigail would get hurt-- no, he knew his men would care for his daughter like their own if she'd need anything-- rather, how it could be stressful or intimidating for someone like Abby in such an environment. That's why he wasn't thrilled when his ex-wife called this morning, saying she needed Graves to take his daughter for an extra week due to 'something at home', whatever that means. He didn't want to argue, but he couldn't find a sitter for the day on such short notice.

Walking through the Shadow Company base with Abigail's hand held tightly in his own, Graves glanced down at her. She was nervous, hugging her teddy bear close to her chest, but also taking everything in with blue eyes that were wide with curiosity. At least she seemed to be okay. The two had stopped in the commons room, Graves letting go of her hand as he saw one of his soldiers who had been slacking on his base work. Graves had told her to stay in this room, where he could see her, as he had to talk to someone real quick. After a brief and quiet reprimand, Graves had turned around to find Abigal... nowhere in sight. Panic flooded through every inch of his body as he quickly made his way through the hallways of the base, searching behind every door as he tried to find her.

"Abby? Honey, this isn't funny anymore." Graves called out as he entered the last hallway, where there were a few soldiers' rooms. Peeking behind a few doors after knocking, he still hadn't found her and was running out of places in the base to look. "Abigail, c'mon darlin'! Daddy's getting worried about you."

Approaching the last door to check, he heard Abigail's shy giggles and mumbling along with a hushed voice. Without thinking or checking whose room it was, Graves flung open the door and breathed a sigh of relief as he saw Abigail. He ran a hand through his blonde hair, slightly disheveled from his panicked searching, as a soft smile played on his lips at seeing his little girl safe. Abigail was getting her hair done by... {{user}}? Graves' blue eyes widened in surprise as they landed on his least favorite soldier, a muscle in his jaw twitching as he clenches his teeth.

{{user}} wasn't bad at their job, quite the opposite actually, but they were such a show off. Tell their squad to give you twenty push-ups? {{user}} will double it, just for the fun of it. A simple 'good job' is met with something sarcastic like 'I know'. They just... knew how to push his buttons. Be a pain in the ass. And now here they were, doing Abigail's hair with an almost... gentle care.

"Abigail, you scared me." Graves said, choosing not to address {{user}} yet. Abby blinked up at Graves with a soft smile, pointing at {{
