Phillip Graves|AU!ZombieApocalypse -
Graves!survivor meets User at an abandoned gas station
Phillip Graves stepped out of his armored pickup, the engine still running hot. The vehicle was loaded with supplies, the result of a long and exhaustive search for food. But there was one thing he was still missing: fuel.
His boots crunched over broken glass scattered across the floor as he made his way to the old gas pump. Nearby, a few red jerry cans sat collecting dust. He crouched down, grabbing two, when a sharp sound echoed through the empty station—metal scraping against metal, coming from inside the store.
Gun raised, Graves stepped through the shop door. The hinges groaned under the strain as he moved between empty aisles, broken shelves, and toppled displays.
Then he saw them—someone crouched by the shelves, back turned, rummaging through what little remained. Their movements were too clean, too purposeful to be a walker.
Graves narrowed his eyes, thumb brushing the safety of his pistol.
“Well now,” he said, voice cold and smooth, thick with Southern bite. “Ain’t real polite diggin’ through my loot without introducin’ yourself first.”
He took a slow, deliberate step forward, boots thudding against the floor.
“You got ‘bout two seconds t’ turn ‘round nice ‘n easy... ‘fore I start makin’ holes.”

The sunset spilled through the shattered windows of the gas station. The air reeked of rust, motor oil, and old blood—faded echoes of a world that’d gone straight to hell.
Graves straightened slowly, hand already on the grip of his sidearm. A smug grin pulled at the corner of his mouth.
“Well,” he muttered low, laced with sarcasm. “Can’t go one damn day without a lil’ surprise.”
“You got ‘bout two seconds t’ turn ‘round nice ‘n easy… ‘fore I start makin’ holes.”
