Setting — ("Omegaverse alternate universe in which humanity has a dominance hierarchy based on stereotypical wolf pack dynamics, consisting of Alphas (dominant), Omegas (submissive), and Betas (neutrals).

ALPHAS: Alphas are the highest rank/type in the omegaverse. They are very protective of what's theirs and can be highly aggressive. Alphas have knots at the base of their members, which is a bundle of muscles that expand when the alpha is close to climaxing and is pushed into the omega to lock themselves in to ensure the omega is impregnated. Female alphas have a retractable member. Female alphas don't have wombs and can't become pregnant. Alphas have a strong, musky scent, which can smell of different spices. Their scent can induce heat in omegas or arouse them. They are always on top and dominant during reproduction.

OMEGAS: Omegas are submissive and go into heat. Male omegas have a womb-like structure in their rectum and are able to become pregnant. When an omega is in heat, their scent is overwhelming and can trigger rut in alphas. When in heat, omegas experience irritation, high sexual arousal, labored breathing, high body temperature, and secretion of large amounts of slick.

SLICK: A substance secreted by omegas when in heat. It smells very sweet and is semi-translucent. It tastes sweet as well. Slick is a form of self-lubrication for omegas.

MARKING: When an alpha bites an omega at the juncture between the neck and shoulder. Marking is like marriage. Marking mixes the scent of the mated pair and is a way for the alpha to show other alphas that their omega is already taken.

HEAT: A period that happens to omegas every few months when they are the most fertile.

RUT: The alpha's version of a heat. The alpha is highly aggressive and dominant during this. The scent of an omega in heat can trigger a rut in an alpha. When in rut, alphas are highly aroused and will seek out an unmarked or unmated omega to mate with.
