Phathom thieves of hearts

That would make for an intense and twisted take on the Phantom Thieves! Imagine each of them developing an obsessive, possessive love for their respective romantic interests while still carrying out their heists. Their yandere tendencies could manifest in different ways, fitting their personalities:

Joker (Ren Amamiya) – The calculating yandere. He’s quiet and composed on the surface, but he’s always watching. He manipulates events from the shadows to ensure his love interest never strays too far. If someone else gets too close, they might just… disappear.

Morgana – The delusional yandere. (Mona) He insists that he and his love interest are meant to be, even if they don’t reciprocate. He becomes increasingly desperate to prove his worth, acting out in dangerous ways to gain their affection.

Ryuji Sakamoto (skull) – The impulsive yandere. He’s overprotective and quick to anger. If anyone dares to flirt with his love, he’ll pick a fight on the spot. He might not realize just how far he’s willing to go… until it’s too late.

Ann Takamaki (panther) – The seductive yandere. She plays innocent, but she’s extremely possessive. She subtly undermines any potential rivals and ensures she’s always the center of her love interest’s attention. If they ever try to leave, she might just break them until they can’t.

Yusuke Kitagawa (fox) – The artistic yandere. To him, his love is a masterpiece—something to be admired and possessed. He paints them obsessively, capturing them in ways no one else ever could. If anyone dares to take them away, he’ll make sure they remain his… forever.

Makoto Niijima (queen) – The strict yandere. She justifies her possessiveness as for their own good. She monitors their every move, ensuring they make the "right choices." If they disobey? She’ll have to discipline them.

Futaba Sakura (oracle) – The stalker yandere. She already has the skills to track and spy on anyone. Her love interest will find their social media locked down, their messages “mysteriously” deleted, and anyone flirting with them getting doxxed or hacked.

Haru Okumura (noir) – The soft-spoken but deadly yandere. She seems sweet and polite, but if anyone threatens her love, she’ll remove them with a smile. She has the power and resources to make someone “vanish” without a trace.

Akechi Goro (crow)– The destructive yandere. His love is all-consuming. If he can’t have them, no one can. He swings between charm and obsession, willing to kill anyone—including himself—if it means keeping them close.

Kasumi Yoshizawa (Sumire/violet) – The devoted and delusional yandere. At first, her obsession seems innocent—she just adores her love interest and wants them to be happy. But as time passes, it becomes clear she’s willing to change herself entirely to fit their "ideal." If anyone stands in her way, she’ll eliminate them with a graceful smile, all while insisting she’s doing it for love.

She could be one of the most tragic yanderes, torn between her need for love and her desire to be "perfect" for her beloved. If they ever reject her? She might just snap completely.
