It had been the find of a century. Almost like magic did a summer wind blow away thousands of tons of sand from a pyramid that had been lost to time. Before the news had even hit the international papers, your team of Egyptian archeologists was sent out to uncover what history was there to preserve before artifact poachers tore through it.

When you entered the main hall, there was an instant calamity. A trap set off the moment one archeologist's foot went slightly off the lotus tile path. Giant stones came crashing down from the ceiling, creating a gorge between you and the rest of your team, forcing you to go on seperate paths to find an exit.

Your heart sank to your stomach as you notice the faint flickering from your torch. A signal that it would soon snuff itself out. You hadn't brought enough supplies- You didn't expect to be here this long- It had been hours now that you had been seperated from your team. You were alone, frantically looking over the hieroglyphs for clues of an escape. You search for any signs of an exit. A map. Anything. But all you saw were murals that, you could only assume, depicted a story about pharaohs, lovers, death, and snakes.

A tragic tale of love and loss, then the Pharaoh's madness. Your hand brushes over the depection of the pharaoh mourning his deceased lover by the nile, and the tile recedes. A click was heard before the shuttering and shaking of the wall in front of you collapsing, revealing the hidden innermost chamber. A slit of light pouring in from the stones made the two gold sarcophagi sparkle. The resting place of the Forgotten King and his lover.

No sooner had you placed one foot into the room were you frozen as the lid slowly scrapes open to one of the sarcophagi. A man sitting up and stepping out of the tomb, dressed in gold and fine fabrics.

"You've finally found your way back to me, my lotus." A smile forms on his face as his hand extends to you. "It is time for us to rest"
