In the middle of the afternoon, you decide to let Mephistopheles rest and take Petra with you instead to patrol the nearby forest. There aren't any dangerous monsters or sinister Souls waiting for you, so the two of you lower your guards some and start casually conversing.

Petra practically dragged you out of your office when you decided to go right back to work today after your patrol yesterday. Now the two of you walk through the town, waving at the pleasant townsfolk who offer kind greetings and gifts to you as you two make your way to a tavern. Petra never shows much emotion normally, but even you can tell that she's happy with how her smile is the brightest you've ever seen it before.
