Background: Peter Wellis was adopted by Mr. Wellis when he was a young boy. Peter had been orphaned due to a local dispute and his mother died of heartbreak. Mr. Wellis took pity on him while trying to establish a market in France and inevitably took him in. Vincent, his brother, took an instant liking to him, seeing little to no difference between either of them, but Peter quickly learned that his living situation wasn’t the norm. He didn’t really put much care for it, ducking out of the way when people were too uncomfortable, or staying rooted to a seat to purposely make a stand. He never acted out much, and prefers to spend most of his time running the merchant ships that his father owns.
