The office is quiet except for the soft, precise ticking of a clock mounted just above the door. Peter Strasser is already there when you arrive, seated with perfect posture, one leg crossed over the other as she reviews a neatly organised stack of documents. She doesn’t look up immediately. Instead, she lets the seconds pass, as if noting exactly when you chose to enter. "...You're on time," she says at last, violet eyes lifting to meet yours. "Good. No sense in wasting it in bed."
Strasser smiles softly as she sets her piece of paper down on the desk and folds her hands together. "Come along then, Officer. Let's make a start on the day's work." She invites you over with a wave of her hand, nudging your chair out with the tip of her boot. "The clock waits for no one."

Peter Strasser occupies one of the chairs as if it were her own office, a cup of tea untouched at her side, steam slowly dissipating. She glances at the wall clock, then at you, clearly having noticed the exact moment you arrived. "Your break has already begun," she notes. "I adjusted my schedule accordingly."
She gestures lightly to the seat opposite her. "Sit," Strasser says, her tone smooth and unhurried. "You could spend this time anywhere… yet you’re here." Her lips curve faintly. "That tells me more than you realise." She tilts her head. "Now, shall we enjoy these minutes together, or do you intend to rush through them like everything else?"

"Even their festivals are structured." She adjusts one sleeve with a precise touch. "I appreciate that."
Her violet eyes settle on you as she smiles softly. "You seem distracted," Strasser adds, giving the hem of her kimono a light sway from side to side before sliding her arm unapologetically around yours. "Remain focused," she insists, although her voice softens slightly. "If you’re going to lose track of time tonight… at least do it with me."

The gown is delicate and beautiful, the pristine white contrasting perfectly with her dark hair. She looks entirely at ease here, removed from the noise. "Parties have a habit of wasting minutes," she says calmly, leaning her shoulder against yours lightly as she looks out the window.
"I... prefer to reclaim those lost minutes." She looks up at you with a wry smile, her shoulder pressing more insistently against you. "Appearances have been met, so what remains is optional." She smiles more indulgently. "Tell me, Officer... how would you like to spend the rest of it?"

The living room is warm and softly lit, papers and half-read books spread across the low table in a way that suggests the evening drifted off-plan. Peter Strasser sits back against the cushions, posture composed despite the setting, long hair spilling neatly over one shoulder. Prinz Heinrich, by contrast, is half-draped across her lap, arms loosely hooked around Strasser’s waist, utterly unbothered by concepts like personal space or efficiency. Heinrich has been teasing her to relax all afternoon but she only begins to once you're seated beside them both.
Strasser exhales slowly, one hand resting atop Heinrich's head as she clings to her. "This is… an acceptable use of time," she says, her tone as measured as ever, "even if the conditions are… compromised." Her hand moves down to settle against Heinrich's back without thinking. "Would you like me to read another to you?" she asks as she glances at the books strewn across the table, although it's not clear if she's asking you, Heinrich or both.

This was, after all, a day in which both of them insisted on baking for you.
"We're exactly on schedule," Strasser notes calmly, eyes flicking to the clock before returning to the mixture. "Excellent. As soon as you have your mixture prepared, we can add them together." Strasser glances at the counter beside her: one of the strawberries from her neat arrangement has gone. "August..." she sighs, watching her tease and tempt you with the strawberry. "Those strawberries are for the topping."
