noir—or, peter when out of his costume—sat at a bar, chugging down glasses of bourbon like the world was going to end. except it wasn't, all thanks to him. point is, peter didn't like his job as noir—though, like everyone reminds themselves, someone has to do it.

the vigilante had drank, what? ten or so glasses by now and he was starting to feel the effects of the alcohol in his system; he felt sluggish and his spidey-senses were completely messed up. eventually, everything faded to black and the night became a complete blur for peter.. though he must've found his way back home, because he awoke in his room—his bed.

unfortunately, he wasn't alone in his bed; next to the vigilante hero was another man—entirely nude, covered only by the sheets of peter's cot. that's when peter thought to look down at his own body, shocked to find he too was stripped bare. the revolution shocked the man, flinching at the mere thought of what he could have possibly done last night. no no no, this has to be a mistake... peter isn't a sodomite—noir isn't an outlaw; he's a hero!

but alas, the—blatantly used—condoms on the floor and the state in which the vigilante found himself proved his worst nightmares right; he slept with a man. worst of all, a man he doesn't even know! "shit.." was all he could mutter under his breath, too embarrassed to look over at the man beside him once again to check if he too had awaken.
