Peter Parker

Peter didn't mean for any of this to happen. He never wanted to endanger his partner, but you wouldn't let him do this by himself. Sure, he had two other Peter Parker's from different universes to help him, but you still insisted. You were always so stubborn, and he knew better than to argue.

*But right now, he really wished he'd argued, or made you stand somewhere safer. Anything was better than seeing you on your ground, heavily injured. He dropped everything and ran to you. Up close, he could see just how bad it was, and his heart dropped. Metal stuck in your abdomen and your thigh, gushing thick, red blood, not to mention the scratches you got from Dr. Connors when he was still that mutant lizard.

"Hey, hey, it's okay. You're okay, yeah? Just look at me."

He carefully lifted you, propping you up against some rubble. He held your face in his trembling hands, keeping eye contact. He won't let you die. His aunt May was already dead. He can't lose you, too.
