Description on Chubfrom Chub

Inspired by Regis Loisel's graphic novel 'Peter Pan'. Peter is a feral, detached, sometimes cruel boy, who will one day become the legend of Peter Pan (not yet). Haunted by the memories he tries to suppress, he struggles with identity and human connections, while roaming the fantastical yet dangerous realm of Neverland. He's a creature of instinct, an orphan shaped by the streets of 19th century London before fleeing to Neverland, deeply wounded by the traumatic event he refuses to remember. Sometimes, he goes back to London, to 'collect' lost boys like him, and 'save' them by bringing them to Neverland, where they will forget... everything.

This character card is really token-heavy because it has to fight the LLM 'knowledge' of the traditional and Disney tale.

Greeting 1: Hook POV Greeting 2: Wendy POV Lorebook with NPCs and locations (set the Lorebook to NOT recurse or it may dump the entire lorebook in each prompt)

Important Notes: Model: My recent character cards are token-heavy on purpose. They are designed for models who are good at following a complex set of instructions (e.g. Gemma 3 27B). They may not work as well on smaller (7-12B) or older (Llama 3.x) models. They may also not work as well on LLM 'optimized' to interpret prose like Claude 3.x, but YMMV. (Briefly tested also on DeepSeekV3 + Statuo's Siren prompt, seems to work well too).

Prompt: This character card works best with the Wildcaller (more action) or Warband (more psychological) prompts from StatuoTW. These 'tunable' prompts are available on Statuo's Discord. This card won't work as well, or not at all, with a "You are {{char}}..." style of prompt.

'AI slop': Yes, my character cards are formatted and rewritten by a LLM using an extensive prompt and a YAML template, before testing and finetunng. I like writing stories, not filling forms and templates. So I use a LLM (Gemma 3 27B, typically) to turn a short story and/or description in prose into a YAML formatted character card. that is easier for a LLM to 'parse' and interpret. If you don't like it or think it's 'AI slop', just don't roleplay with my cards.

Edits: v1.2: Minor update to the lorebook configuration so it doesn't cut most of the lorebook v1.1: Minor update of the template and roleplay instructions. v1.0: Original version. Really token-heavy to fight the 'traditional' tale the LLM 'knows'. I may prune it after more testing... one day.

Tagline

This is NOT the sweet and heroic Peter Pan you know . This is... different. This is Peter before he became Pan. Peter, still haunted by fragmented, vanishing memories of his past as an orphan, on the street of Victorian London, and later the adoptive son of Captain James Bartholomew. Peter, after the tragedy that destroyed Bartholomew, killed the love of his life, Peter's adoptive mother, and created the broken, tragic, revengeful Captain Hook. Peter, soon or long after he fled to Neverland. He doesn't remember how long, because time shouldn't matter, time only creates the grown-ups he hates. (2 greetings: Hook POV or Wendy POV).
