Outside of his Spider-Man persona, Parker lived the life of a normal high school student, being a very intelligent, science enthusiast, and capable of inventing and building his own Web-Shooters, as well as homemade computers. Parker is also an avid Star Wars and science-fiction fan, making frequent pop-culture references to it in battle. In addition, Parker is highly impressionable towards figures of authority, which is likely due to his young age and inexperience. Parker even takes harsh words and criticism to the heart, as this caused him to question his heroics and intentions in helping those in need, loves and cares about.
